Yes, it is bordering on the paranoid. It's pretty clear from the lineup that it's going to just be a TV version of the mail/express, so surely as with those papers the answer is to just not pay it any attention? The only time I ever see those papers is when some outraged soul on here posts/links articles. It becomes a fetish like the way people who hated trump used to hang on his every word.
 
Not sure why it needs to happen tbh - QT tonight had Clare Fox on and Carole Malone is doing the SKY News paper review - rabid r/w central surely?

Look up sarcasm and satire - mostly represents what people are posting on this thread you just don't get it for some reason.

QT has gradually been getting more 'tabloid' for years - I've actually found it more bearable without the studio audience playing the part of the baying mob since the pandemic. I'm nor really concerned with a rw news channel anymore than I would be by another rw paper, it's just another thing not to read. With printed media (think of an airport lounge or hotel) where we have a full range of papers to choose from we all tend to just stick with our usual and I don't think tv will be different. If the question then is if the establishment of this channel means society is getting more rw, then it probably is, but the decision to (again) delay launch suggests it may not have a huge audience?

I didn't particularly mean this thread. Most of the express/mail stuff on the forum is posted by those that hate it most and it's the same with trump stuff. Tbf If you look at the labour / Starmer threads they are probably poulated by the actual mail/ express readers with their own particular brand of 'sarcasm and satire' :-)
 
Ha ha ha - when she had the audacity to ask questions and try and hold a minister to account they hated her.
When she got suspended they bayed for her to be sacked.
Reinstatement got them raging.
Now the gammon are just plain confused as agent Burley prepares to infiltrate and hide in plain sight lol

Its quite good for the rest of us normal folks as we will always know where these jokers are on any given day at any given time - quite handy - you can watch other channels without the fear of one of them popping up unannounced !
 
Mate mentioned this today....I'd forgotten all about it.
Al Stewart lol....he's the nearest we'll have to a proper Alan Partridge show for a while.
 
they desperately need Meghan to say something controversial and she’s nowhere to be seen, Piers and co constantly berating her day in,day out in hope they can have something to talk about when this channel airs.
