Well made but the story line all got a bit far fetched in the end...Chernobyl next I think.
The book ending is a lot different.Just finished the Terror.
Flawed perhaps and often had that sheen of TV made rather than movie but cannot fault it’s scope & ambition.
Few odd, surreal and dark moments with a queasy score.
Will dig the book out but what a story without all the other elements...cannot imagine what it would’ve been like.
Really poor sets, they never looked cold!Just finished the Terror.

It’s fantastic, best British sitcom of the last 15 years imo.Is Toast of London any good?

Have you watched The Last Kingdom? Brilliant and same eraFinished Vikings recently one of the best shows I've ever watched anyone have any recommendations for shows similar?
Only found it recently and binged it up to date. Gutted when I'd watched them all. Have to wait ages for next series now :(Fantastic series, utterly addictive.
They're turning kids into slavesI’ve just started re-watching Flight of the Concords. Loved it when it came out originally but I’d really recommend it if you haven’t seen it. It’s very funny.
Band meeting! They're turning kids into slaves
Just to make cheaper sneakers
But what's the real cost?
'Cause the sneakers don't seem that much cheaper
Fantastic series,utterly addictive.
Fantastic isn't it ;-)Inspired by the recent BM TV top 100 poll, I wanted to watch something I hadn't seen before.
BBC's Wolf Hall (2015)

A six-part drama based on the book of the same name, charting the rapid rise to power of Thomas Cromwell during the times of Tudor England, and the court of King Henry the 8th.
Its a familiar but fascinating story about political maneuvering with stellar acting especially from Mark Rylance as the lead Cromwell and his foil Ann Boleyn played wickedly by Claire Foy.
Coupled with sumptuous cinematography, dim candle-lit backdrops and exquisite music to suit the mood, it's a mini series that has a compelling pace and presence that unfolds treachery at every corner, leaving me wanting to queue up the very next episode as soon as the current one finished.
Easily my favourite show I've watched throughout the lockdown period, and a big thank you to the BM Top 100 voters for highlighting this BBC masterpiece.![]()

Masterpiece is a word that definitely should be used here.Inspired by the recent BM TV top 100 poll, I wanted to watch something I hadn't seen before.
