I love Pep but I agree with every word of this.We will go there and win.
I honestly feel Pep weighs the team down when "its a biggy" by telling them over and over again "make no mistakes"
Its like telling a good boxer to forget about their own attributes and (over)concentrate on your opponent.
My back up for this conclusion is before every derby.
He waxes lyrical about the rags, history trophies strength blah blah and we fall flat on our faces.
But when City need to play, and relax then we are on paper the best team in Europe.
My only advice to Pep would be, stop playing chess in your head out of respect for these clubs and go let our lads do what 99% of the time they normally do...play with freedom and win
Fair enough mate. Is funny how we all see it slightly differently. I have a similar hatred for Tyler, the amount of sly digs in just one game against us is ridiculous. Her indoors wasn't really watching the game but she said " bloody hell how happy do they sound now Dortmund have scored"
Darke and Jenas want fucking off.. They are absolutely a pair of twats..
Jenas was almost crying when ref gave us the penalty.. That's not a pen.. It cant be.. If it was the dippers or the rags he would be saying it was a nailed on pen.
Exactly. At this stage in the competition there is no such thing as an easy game an any team will punish your mistakes. Luckily tonight we got away with the Ederson mistake but not the Walker error. At this level one lapse can be the difference between lifting the trophy or not. Edersons mistake , Rodri's wayward passes and Walker not picking up the man behind him, all meet that test.
spot on! it will take a lot more than that tonight to even things out!Forgive me for not giving a fuck about the disallowed goal for Dortmund.
Bad decisions against us -
vs Monaco - Serge no pen /no red card when fouled when clean through.
vs Liverpool - Offside opening goal, wrongly ruled offside goal for Jesus, no pen for a foul on Sterling, wrongly ruled offside goal for Sane.
vs Spurs - Handball winner - Another replay not shown to the official showed the ball hit the scorers elbow.
vs Lyon - Laporte fouled in the build up to Lyon going ahead.
We should treat the return leg as a one-off game starting from a clean slate: we win or we draw and we go through (and if we lose, we might get lucky and go through anyway). No, 3-2 and we win on away goals
Rubbish, Rodri’s position is key to how we play and why we have got to where we are this season. He wasn’t great tonight, as weren’t othersRodri
Ah the usual "Happy Clapper Brigade".I must have been watching a different game.
We havnt scored an away goal yet so that's not 'as it stands'.No, 3-2 and we win on away goals
I trust the decisions of Pep - they serve him rather well, over the opinion of any of our fans.I love Pep but I agree with every word of this.
Talking about the Scandinavian bird that Foden and Greenwood shaggedThese two obviously know each other....

Maybe back in the day when they were youth players for their national teams?
centre forward is a key position as well. We may get away with the system in a below par premier league, we wont be so lucky in a tight CL tie. I reckon Pep will play a striker from the start away at Dortmund.Rubbish, Rodri’s position is key to how we play and why we have got to where we are this season. He wasn’t great tonight, as weren’t others
Hahahahha Seriously yo expect us to believe that shit ! He clearly went down to con the ref in thinking he had been kicked in the face.It had fuck all to do with him actually being hit on the knee.Had he been more honest he would probably have got the penalty by holding his knee !!Just rewatched a highlights video of the incident and he goes down in obvious pain with his hands nowhere near his head (which you would do if you were trying to con the ref). Only after he's on the ground does he cover his face with his hands (like you might well do if you were in pain). The highlights don't show what he did after that (and I'll hold my hands up if he made some motion suggesting he'd been hit in the head), but I don't remember him complaining and pointing to his head.
It’s through playing FIFA together earlier this season. These two obviously know each other....

Cancelo was awol tonight which didn’t help Rodri in terms of support. Rodri himself had a poor game though.I agree with you
I also thought Rodri struggled without Bernardo or Fernandinho helping him out
Oh I agree with you but by fuck the players tonight appeared to not believe in Pep and at times were very negative... thats NOT Peps style.I trust the decisions of Pep - they serve him rather well, over the opinion of any of our fans.
In your opinion. Not sharing your opinion doesn't make anyone a happy clapper. I know what an average performance by Kevin is. Tonight wasn't one of 'em. What I saw tonight was solidity with a killer pass to Ilkay for Foden's goal at a tense point in the game, and his own goal. Not average. We'll have to disagree on this one.Ah the usual "Happy Clapper Brigade".
FFS the lad is one if not the best players in the world but by fuck he was only average tonight ... and he wasn`t alone.
