For what it's worth. An European Super League is still far from an actual possibility. Signing up doesn't guarantee anything for now. They will work out a middle path with UEFA, I'd be very very surprised if CL wasn't just retained and the number of teams wasn't reduced instead of new proposed numbers.

The clubs are silent for a reason, they don't care for UEFA's panic, or the public's, for that matter. It's a risk free move on their part to get bargaining power. They want a seat at the table after UEFA works out a solution with them. I can't see it being anything else, imo.

I do think the Americans are serious, but not all of the 12 parties involved will be equally willing.
 
I believe City would like this to fail but feel compelled to join up for fear of missing out.

I think its doomed to fail and therefore wonder why we got on this train in the first place?

However when it comes to football my eyes are blinded by blue dye. We all believe what we want to believe when it comes to the heart.

When we stood up to UEFA with the CAS hearing I was so proud of this club because it had it's principles and was prepared to go to the end of the earth to defend them. This is why City being involved in this Super League is so shocking and disappointing. These new power brokers aren't going to be any different from the ones at UEFA. They only needed us to save face. What value would 'The Big 6' of England have had if City (presumptive winners of 3 out of the last 4 Premier League titles) said no? We're being had, and I can't believe the people running this club can't see it. As soon as it becomes convenient to fuck us off, they will. We have no people on the board, and worse United have a vice chairman involved. Do they really think that these people won't hesitate to stamp on our throats as soon as the opportunity arises?

Please City, pull out now!

You’re missing the point. WE are the ones telling the other clubs what they can and can’t play in. We cannot talk about the cartel clubs as a them and us thing any more. Manchester City are now a cartel club. We are everything that we were fighting against. The old cartel are not worse than City, City are cünts too.
