Yes it fucking does. Nobody cares about the trophies the club might win. It’s a dead season now. The club is telling us clearly that they don’t care about us. There’s no ambiguity here, they simply do not care for anything other than money. And you don’t think that changes anything? After all the fans have been through, defending City every single day against the sniping, the agenda, the people trying to bring the club to its knees, you think getting into bed with those very people, becoming one of them... changes nothing? Give over.

Its all good and well that these other clubs have come out and said they have refused to join this ESL - because at the moment it isn't up and running.

If it goes through and after just one season of it running they get wind of the huge vast revenues the included clubs are pocketing then these clubs will change their tune and will be fighting to get in

its a sad thing to say, but money rules

To my understanding, those in ESL won't play in CL, those in CL won't play in ESL.

ESL is closed competition. Alternative to CL? Probably, but not really.

a few things from this
Owners fully behind despite some board members being concerned
They anticipated the back-lash but not bothered about bad PR
Their jobs is to maximize income not look after football which is secondary
Being led by Glaziers Ed Woodward & JP Morgan
Want less football would be delighted if their players couldn't play international football
If they stay in PL would focus on the mid week SL games and field weakened teams in PL
Other 14 clubs want immediate sanctions including suspension immediately from PL one owner has said he leave anyhow as the riches on offer in ESL far out weigh the consequences
Chelsea and City had serious reservations but couldn't afford the consequences of laying in a weaken PL and ECL
