Those saying super league will never happen should look at the new format of the CL. I like it actually. A league replaces group stages. But UEFA changed the eligibility criteria to add a safeguard for the 'history' clubs.

We’ve got three years to get that sorted out.

I like the idea of a league format (I did with the ESL) but we must make sure it’s a meritocracy.

Depends what the history element in though. I read somewhere it was last the years performances. But Don’t forget, Liverpool have missed out on the CL 7 years in the last 11, both Milan clubs have missed out many times, Arsenal 5...

Need to have a proper look at this and act on it if it’s not right. But we’ve got until 2024... this ESL thing needed sorting out TODAY!

I think it is more likely that Bayern and PSG had the smartest moves. They played the best cards of anyone.
