I saw Messi live at 17 and he blew my socks off just purely because he was so much very better at playing football at such a young age then even the other elite players in his overly talented team. Not sure anyone can top him. But.. Foden is the only player close to being as technically gifted as him and he has a few natural attributes that Messi simply isn’t blessed with.

He is getting noticeably better every single game as he gains confidence to show his full repertoire of skills. He’s gaining confidence and growing with it.

Anything can happen, good and bad with talent but his talent is pretty much limitless.

Avoid serious injury and remain hungry and focussed and there isn’t a ceiling.
