Harry Kane

Like most players, he is made better by better quality players around him. Given that, if ASM is having a stand out season at Newcastle, that is to his credit.

City appear to like high quality midfielders with different strings to their bow. Whether he is a Pep player or not, we will never know.
Unless we sign him, of course. It would be an interesting signing, but not a likely one. His injury record is terrible too.

I know it’s diff positions but if you had a choice of Kane of son who would you go for ?

If money wasn't an issue, then Kane 100%. He fills a need with us and Aguero parting ways. He's just a better player IMO. And he's English.

I've said before, Levy would want to rape us on price, and why replace one striker that we can no longer count on to be fit, with another that is likely to replace him in the treatment room. Aguero has given us many a goal over numerous seasons, I believe this is what we will be looking for, not a stop gap for the next 2-3.

Don't shoot the messenger but heard from two different people that Kane has bought a house in South Manchester and it's currently being done up by his wife. Could mean he is off to the rags, dippers or us, can't imagine it would be Neverton or it could mean he is building up a property portfolio, who knows. Would prefer Haaland myself or maybe both of them

Do we know how he’s initially paid for the home improvements?

I'd be surprised mate. His wife has just recently had her third child and would imagine decorating would be low down the list if she is taking personal charge?

He'll be on the move,as todays comments further suggest, but i dont think it will be here.
He just screams Rag to me,and unfortunately he would be incredible for them.

Its not like she would be picking up a paintbrush though is it or pre cutting the lawns.she will be designating tradesman to do that with the money they have tbf.

They don't have the money. He would cost the same as Haaland and they don't have it for him.

Only if they sell Pogba do they have a proper kitty, and he's not doing them any favours.

Probably so. Think we can dismiss decorating a house when nearly every player who moves here rents first, with the club making sure it already fits the brief.

Too many things can go wrong for any player to commit to a house purchase before a deal goes through.

De Gea is very likely to be sold he's their highest wage earner, plus they have a number of players out on loan. They also don't have the same FFP restrictions as we do.

Who is going to buy De Gea and also pay his £375k a week wages? Even if a club in the current climate did manage to raise a bid, United would have pay the rest of his contact up, which is about £35m.

Lingard and Pogba both have just a year left, so they also hold all the cards.

They even gave Bailly a new deal this week because they couldn't afford to let him walk away next year for free.

Then that's great to hear!

Although i'm not sure where it leaves the player,i think he knows this summer is the one he has to leave if he is to get the trophy winning club he desires.

Maybe he is plan B??
