I never underestimate United's ability and hypocrisy for revisionism.

They don't have the money, they say they need four players, so the cash will have to magically appear again.

Distancing themselves from Haaland could well be just face saving.

Aye,its quite miraculous how they keep finding all these 'self generated' billions,so their revolving managerial door can largely waste it.

They'd fucking love Haaland,but i dont think the kid and his old man are that daft.

De Gea is favourite to join PSG and when you see 34 year old Navas tonight you can see a weakness for them there.

At WHU Lingard has shown how effective a player he can be and several PL clubs would want to sign him.

Pogba has bucked up and will likely either sign a new contract or get sold. They have some lesser players on loan also that could get sold.

Navas was PSG's best player over 2 legs vs. Bayern.

They love him there, just signed an extension on Monday.

I hope the rags blow whatever money they have on him, Rags are smashed but would still be stupid enough to but him must to keep the fans off their back especially after "super league".

That's as blatant of a "come get me" plea for any top team as you'll get from Kane. He isn't going to do a VVD and screw spurs and threaten strikes etc. Trouble is nobody is going to pay what spurs will demand. He's not got long enough at the top to be worth the money, and his ankles are glass.

United probably would pay up but only if they're forced to, I don't see any other club willing to drive them up. Also if Kane is wanting to in trophies, why would he go to United?

I predict Kane will remain at spurs next season despite attempting to get out. Could get ugly and I can't wait.

IF he signs for them and I do think he will be playing in the Greater Manchester area next season, he will make them considerably stronger.

They will find the money, they have huge debt, but also a huge turnover and the ability to raise money.

That’s not how these things work. The very small number of teams who can afford him and can offer him the trophy haul he craves will be very well aware of his situation. What you’re hearing is a player who’s leaving a club preparing that club’s supporters for some bad news....
 
Seems Levy gave the ok to start the auction money wise spurs are in deep deep deep deep shit! Also if Levy thinks he is going to get anything more than 90m for him he is crackers! They saying PSG will pay 150m for him Really? Not a chance
 
A lot of money has been taken out of the game over the last 15 months of COVID, and I suspect at least one big club will be forced to default on its debts ( or even declare bankruptcy) The knockon effect of last season's transfer fees not being paid could be the last straw for many clubs.

But even if disaster is avoided, I can't see many clubs wanting to pay way, way over the odds. I can see a lot of clubs trying to get rid of players to reduce their wage bills - which means its more of a buyers market

For the likes of Harry Kane and Spurs business managers, this is bad news whether he stays or goes.

Will be an interesting summer where Kane is concerned - the media will spend the whole time linking him with the Rags - for cheap clicks - its the perfect scenario for them. My guess is Spurs will need to do a deal if Kane says he wants out - probably circa £100m plus Lingard etc... I honestly see the Rags pushing the panic button (again) if we sign Haarland.

totally agree we get Haaland they will do a deal somehow to get Kane
 
Good player but past his best plus injury prone. 2 years ago I would love him here but not now. I can see him at Utd & he will help them but he’s a short term fix.

I want a young player who will be around for 5/6 seasons. Haaland or Mbappe for me if we want to go on & dominate in Europe
