Tbf - I thought right away that the ref delayed the obvious yellow because he suspected it could be red. Fair play to him on that, although like Jenas I thought his reluctance to give free kicks around the box was borderline cheating. Overall, I think we were reffed fairly tonight - errors were not exclusively against us - although the lack of free kicks around their box is still puzzling.
We wasn’t reffed farely but the perception is changed because they got a red. There was so many fouls given against us that wasn’t a foul and so many times we were told to play on.
But it wasn’t horrendous either.

In the good old days when the BBC covered England's home test matches ( cricket ) all 5 days. The old 5 nations. Flood light Rugby league, Pot black in black AND white. Sports night with Coalman. All day F.A cup final build up with its a knockout, hotel and coach interviews. Grandstand with the gee gees in between other sports. F.1> and various other motor sports and now we are left with the bastard boat race and bastard Wimbledon ffs ;-)
An we still have to pay the licence fee (well most of us).

Ask him if he wants to leave his position at the BBC and become Man City's PR then?
What is the matter with you?

Honestly we bitch like fuck about bad press and then moan when somebody says something good lol

I won't deny we need a better PR presence though

I had guy mowbray, Clive Allen it was a pleasure.
Guy Mowbray always comes across as very balanced and fair. Clive Allen wasn't at City that long but is generally pretty positive about us.The club, or at least the fans seemed to make quite an impression on him.I'm sure I recall him once saying that the bond he had with the City fans was the best he had at any club he played for.

fook me the mirror changed it’s front page online page very quickly to rags and dippers fighting over players they should have signed from each other. Dear me.

David Hytner's match report in the Guardian is good.

Surprisingly just focuses on the match, no snide little digs about money, or oil, or state owned, or human rights etc...just a report on a game of football, which is all we ask.

Even Barney Ronay managed to get through a report without any digs.

How did he respond to our goals ? If a honey of it ?

Haven't seen anything yet but I would assume it went something like
