How exactly have we got off lightly? Have punisments been handed out? Nope. Have United and Liverpool been raked over the coals by the media more harshly than City? Nope. United and Liverpool were clearly the driving force behind the whole ESL project. United and Liverpool deserve more criticism. The headline implies otherwise.
No it doesn't.

It's about right. He might sound miffed about it, and wish it was otherwise, but (noting some of the stuff on bluemoon about our involvement) we have got away with blame compared to the main investigators and their "borrowed money" men.

"While they (City and Chelsea) might not quite come out of this smelling of roses, they are not mired in the same manure as their American friends."

Did you get that quote from the headline?

If we do manage to win the champ league we will get over shadowed by these cunts winning the lesser cup ffs
Hate the lot of them
That’s a strange way of thinking.
If we win it, I couldn’t care less who wins anything else, or what the press say about it. Nothing will over shadow it for me.

You know when you go to the doctors and tell him,it hurts when you do this and he says, well don’t fuckin do it then??

That’s how I treat the media these days, I’ve completely sanitised my viewing and listening habits, I don’t watch, read or listen to any of the punditry, lies and media snidery towards our great club.... Try it, I guarantee you will all feel much better :-) Happy Friday

Unlike Man Utd, Liverpool and co - Man City and Chelsea have got off ESL fiasco lightly

Repercussions already fading for Sheikh Mansour and Roman Abramovich … but not for Glazers, John Henry and Stan Kroenke

Personally if true I see nothing wrong in City and Chelsea being treated lightly.
Its clear the American owners were behind all of this, they were the ones who want a closed shop.
I would be more angry if City were treated the same as the American owned clubs.

You’re right but it’s also like when you have a mouth ulcer, really uncomfortable to touch it but you can’t help yourself.

According to what I managed to read online, by 4pm it all crystallized into 'The game of two halves and two lucky goals'.
Well, there's an element of truth to that. They were probably better in the first half and we were definitely better in the second half. And whilst we deserved to win on the basis of the second half dominance, there was an element of luck in both those goals.
