Please tell me there's no truth in this Mr Hairdoo.

more like agent doing his job with inter Milan happy about it because they could do with some cash saying that he would do a good job in this city side..

Yeah it’s not happening. Trust me, he would be my #2 target, but I don’t see him leaving Inter anymore. Settled in Italy and they’re gonna be solid for next season’s UCL.

Not sure about this source, but it’s not hard to think there could be a degree of truth here. Less so on selling X and getting Y and Z (the article mentions Haaland, the “first target”, and Grealish), but on the notion of an “overhaul” of our attack. I always believed he extended his contract after given promises of big changes. You listen to how KdB’s contract extension came about, and apparently he too was given guarantees of a big summer window. And given how things feel weird around Sterling, again, it doesn’t feel totally impossible that we would be open to offers. But by who?

Sterling has that aura of a player who knows he's off. I love Raz and when he's on it he's dynamite but he's playing when his head is obviously elsewhere. Control of the ball gone, no confidence, misplaced passes, you don't need to be a genius to see that his mind is anywhere but on the pitch.
Could be an element of truth, could be bollocks but I'd side with the headline of us getting rid.

It's such a laughable number it makes it impossible to take them seriously.

I mean, even more impossible than sources close to Pep Guardiola speaking to some random bloke on the internet.
if he is on the market we would rip the arm off someone if they offered 80m . We aren't getting anymore than that after the recent form and his contract situation.

A couple months of bad form is enough to half your value now?

People are forgetting what he has done, acting like he's finished. It's hilarious.

We valued Sane at 140m with 2 years left on his contract, and would have got it if not for his injury.

Sterling is easily worth the same, if not more. Have you all forgotten how good he is?

He has, clearly, given the shit we're having to put up with him this season.

I can only assume theses leaks are a machiavellian attempt by agents to stir up trouble at the negotiation tables

he for sure isn't worth more than sane, not even for an english side.
in this economy we would be lucky to get 80mio. If he really leaves I reckon we get around what we paid for him (65mio?).

Love Sterling and have defended him more than most on here over the last few years.
Truth is, if we received a bid of 100m+ I'd be happy to part ways if the player showed an inclination to leave.
On the other hand I'd also be made up if he signed a new contract and he'd continue to get my full support.
