Very good game today, you can see his quality. He also has a natural aggression i adore.I think people forget how young he is.

He has very uncomfortable situation in terms of playing time and positions, but he scores and scores anyway..
I think he will start to bring more contribution - starting from the the next season..

So much talk of his future lying upfront. Just don't see it. I agree he's looked better as a number 9 at present but he's going to be third choice there in a position Pep doesn't even have 1 on the pitch most of the time. Having an extra option upfront is nice but he was bought as a winger and he has to be so much better as a winger. Looked more confident once he got his goal. I suspect he will play every league game for the rest of the season, needs to show what he's got in those games.

He is 21 years old. He cost us £20.7m and is currently valued at £45m on transfermarkt. He has already played for Spain 10 times, scoring 6 goals. In 6 Champions League appearances he has scored 4 goals.

Is that potential enough for you ?

And, yes, I do mean that Sergio. If you open your eyes and watch what happens when he gets in front of goal you might see It for yourself.
With you for the first 4 lines. The last 2, not so much!

He seems very disciplined and tbh I have sometimes got frustrated when he has not gone on a run when in a good position. He did this a bit in the first half today. Normally coaches struggle to curb young players attacking instincts but Ferran seems to be listening to Pep about tactical discipline aand patience.

Second half he was great. Apart from the goal my main highlight was when he stopped the ball for Cancelo to shoot - shame that it went wide.

He showed today that he deserves his place in the squad.
