I beg to differ but there's no doubt he has been settling in, in addition to coping with two bouts of COVID.

I think he’s going to be some player.
I reckon next season if things get back to some sort of normality hopefully he’ll do the business for us .
10 goals this season is decent enough taking everything into consideration .

Currently having a very similar season to Bernie in his first, you can see flashes of what he’s all about, a bit of normality over the summer and he will kick on for certain next year.

73rd minute from Sterling's great through ball he fakes to shoot and just rolls the ball backwards for Cancelo to shoot.

Stylistically he reminds me so much of KdB in terms of crossing, finishing and overall play.

Luckily, like for Foden, our setup this season has been more flexible in the past.

Our wingers have so much more license to drift inside as Foden and Mahrez have shown, and this favours Ferran.

I can see a future where Foden and Ferran play more together in like a double false 9 as well.

Judging by the people in here saying this is his first good game for us and he's finally coming good, I can't imagine he's ever scored for us before. Surely if he had already scored nine goals before today or something people wouldn't be acting like this was his first good game- nobody has that bad a memory.

Agreed. I've given him a lot of stick the last few months but his reaction to scoring has created a soft spot for him

He's our 2nd best striker and it might not be close.

He was at his best when playing as a false 9 for the first 2-3 months. He's got a decent eye for goal, can strike the ball cleanly with either foot. I'd argue he's a better finisher than Jesus in terms of pure instinct, not based on stats.

Central player if I ever saw one. Really doesn't look like he belongs on the wing to me
