Of course they are, and when did it become important for us to see pundits away from the camera playing up?
It's become 'good tv' for some. I don't like it but have to say my favourite bit of radio was the video of the stunned silence in the Radio 5 studio when Vinnie scored that screamer against Liverpool.

For the first time in my life I am looking to be looking for a stream to watch Der Plastico. I've been thinking that l can't be arsed with all the buffering, dropped connections and MacaFee sending security warnings and the stuff l put up with for City.
But it will be a win/win situation. I have to watch every minute to see the faces of the Faeces at the end. It could slot in with the rags players at Wembley after the semi and Ferguson and Jones plus the one supporter with his rags scarf just showing amongst many others not brave enough.

So thick to think anyone believes he’s a Blue. He’s obviously a long suffering rag. Let’s all laugh :). :). :)
It's pathetic that a publically-funded broadcaster thinks it is reasonable to allow comments from trolls about City on its website. It's not banter. They are just fuelling hate and bile in our national sport. It just doesn't happen to other clubs.

Not sure that's true TBH, the BBC HYS on all football articles tend to be filled with idiots spouting the same old nonsense over and over. I've avoided the site (let alone the comments) for a long while now as it's just not worth the effort.

Ironically this weekend the BBC are part of the suspension of social media use because of abuse and hatred.

There's definitely an element of playing to an audience or deliberately trying to be controversial with some of their antics which is fine for shows like Soccer AM but I would suggest that the majority of viewers want to hear objective commentary and listen to some decent tactical insight ,particularly in current circumstances where match going supporters are having to watch from home.
I like Micah but sometimes he can be a bit giddy and easily influenced by some of his peers however I think he's quite insightful when he's not playing to the crowd.
There are some really good pundits out there in my opinion such as our very own Nedum, Pat Nevin and Leon Osman but for every good pundit there are a dozen rent a gob no nowts usually ex Rags or Dippers who are reeled out to appease their plastic followers.
Tomorrow is win win for me, if The Rags win it damages the victims top 4 chances and won't make much difference to them as they aren't going to catch us and I doubt Leicester will catch them.
If the victims win, it's all over mathematically for the title and they're still unlikely to catch Chelsea or West Ham above them anyway.
A draw is useless to either of them.
Talking of decent pundits, Michael Brown always comes across pretty well and balanced. Brown played for a few clubs but I do think he has quite a bond to City/the fans because of the Gillingham game.
Someone with no connection to City I think is very fair is Ally Mcoist. Comes accross as someone who is actually able to appreciate and enjoy watching a good game of football .When I've heard him he doesn't seem to be constantly having sly digs at us either!

Yet another example of their arrogance and lack of busines strategy. They made great play of the Swamp being THE ground and they didn't need to leave. Now it's a crumbling shit hole they can't afford to repair never mind rebuild BUT, had they thought about it, they could have destroyed us. No COMS no Thaksin and from that no Sheikh. Neither would have spent 100 mill redeveloping Maine Road.

Agree entirely and it gives me joy living opposite and knowing each day it's getting worse - that £200m mentioned in the prospectus will be the lowest figure they could get away with. They will be hoping for world cup winning bid to bail them out like the leg up they got with 1966

I guess I'm lucky to live in the USA - as a rabid City fanatic!
===
Here in the USA, P/L broadcasts are on Peacock - announcers, on the Peacock broadcasts - are from England - pregame, halftime and post-match commentary is from a panel hosted by Rebeca Lowe.

Each game announcer on Peacock seems fair and neutral; the non-live panel hosted by Lowe is also excellent.

C/L broadcasts in the USA are now broadcast on CBS sports networks - the in-game announcers are from England - excellent and balanced.

Studio commentators are hosted by Kate Abdo and include Jamie Carragher (ex-Liverpool yes, but has a valid point - if you can't stand any Liverpool commentator I get it), Micah Richards (one of our own) and Roberto Martínez - with additional commentary provided by Alex Scott and Peter Schmeichel.

I really like this panel and often watch them at half time/after the game.

It's balanced, thoughtful, and mostly non-partisan towards a particular team.

Moreover, it's a huge step up from the Fox/ESPN drivel commentary that usually centers on topics such as "who is the best striker in the world?" - and other issues relevant mostly to a new USA fan, knowing next to nothing about football - it's mostly content-free hype on Fox/ESPN.

Just noticed it on MOTD. I thought that your figure was too high but with the huge number of subs nowadays any bench can be expensive
When I first heard Pearce say it l thought he was talking about its current worth.
But it's not what these twats say it's what they leave out. Most of that bench were the first choices for the vital second leg of the semi final of the Champions League not a bunch of reserves. But the message went out as planned about City and money.
The value of the bench is at least double what motd quoted, great business if you ask me.
