With it seeming that I am the "last dipper standing" on the forum, i thought it was down to me to prompt a lengthy response from you Bill.
I am most disappointed by the lack of length to your posts, I guess resulting from the lack of opportunity to launch at any unwise dipper to question you?

However, I can only agree with you and actually find myself torn, or at least not really bothered either way today.

Yes losing any match is horrible and does cast a cloud over the day, but if it focusses the minds of our owners, makes them appreciate the situation by being hit in the pocket, then maybe somethign good will or can come out of it.

I said it at the very start of the season that I had City as favourites due to our lack of quality in depth and I have been shown to be correct. City are the standard in this respect and FSG need to look at that. They need to think whether our current squad is big enough or good enough (especially outside of a starting 11) to mount a challenge next season. Even more concerning if we do get Europa League.

This again is the dilemma for me. Yes, I would like to win every game. I would like to win a trophy, any trophy, but with the squad we have I do not think we can fight effectively with City in PL or other clubs in Europe on both fronts. So does a season out of Europe give the owners a slap in the face and make them invest? Does it give us more focus to challenge City next season?

But then I hate losing any game...Oh the dilemma for "the bigger picture".
You had a couple of very good seasons, but your best players are now all 30+, including your best defender and leader who has also to recover from a very serious injury
Liverpool have to spend and build again just to challenge for top four which will take some time and more importantly, a great deal of cash which FSG will be loathed to part with

Not the worst in terms of being an offensive get.

Easily the worst when it comes to being a completely up himself tosser with a massively inflated view of his own intelligence.

...a right boring **** as well.
But, but, but...you said you didnt care Mike?
And I did chuckle, in my own, up myself, tosser-ish with my massively inflated view of my own intelligence way, at the decision to delete your own insults.
Or was that due to you not wanting to appear to care?
Stand by your convictions fella. I am intelligent and boring enough to take them...
...because your insults mean more to me.

The question you need to ask yourself is, where's all your money gone..?

Your club generate more revenue than the club I support, in fact, are you not in the top 6 in world football when it comes to revenue?

It's a complete myth that we have a bottomless pit and that we can buy who the fcuk we want..

I'm sure there was a high profile court case recently to substantiate this..

Pep has been at City for a shorter period than your manager has been with your team..

Why hasn't bingo then built a squad to complete on all fronts in the timeframe he's been afforded?

A squad that challenges for all the major trophies..

Pep has managed to do this..!

This is what the big clubs do, Bayern, PSG,, Barcelona, Madrid, Juventus..

It doesn't do you any favours whatsoever coming on here and whinging about the lack of your squad depth..

Your manager, backed by FSG have decided to bin the domestic cups off and concentrate on the CL and PL..

You are fabled for your net spend trophy but whinge like fuck when my club spend the income that they generate to improve their squad instead of syphoning it off like your owners do..

You've recently won the CL, PL, European Super Cup and the Club World Championship..

Why aren't you asking your club where all the money's gone?

Your club is coming out of a perfect storm, one where you have run your first team into the ground, spent fuck all in decent back up players and have exhausted your only style of play option..

Your success in the CL was littered with defeats, a cup competition that you can lose 4 times and get out of you group on goals scored and still win it..

Your PL* win was tarnished by VAR assisted calls, no bookings or suspensions for your players until well after Christmas and a rule change and mid season break thrown in to boot..

The Egyptian diver, Wijandum, Thiago, Milner, Shaqiri, Origi and bobby are all touted to be looking to leave or, in Judas's case, retire..

Long term injuries to the water carrier and dick van dyke, one in his 30's and 1 approaching 30 does bode well for you too once they pitch up for first team selection again ..

Your recent dip into the transfer market had you scrambling around at 5 to 11 on the last day of the window, raiding bottom of the Bundesliga Shalke and Preston's stiffs for centre backs for what amounted to chump change..

So to cut to the chase, do us a favour and don't come on here pointing the finger at my club's transfer spending and then whinging about not being able to complete..

I suggest you get yourself a bedsheet and make a big, fuck off banner asking your owners, FSG, "Where's ALL the fkin money gone"..!

Thats more like it Bill, a return to your usual post length.
..And all perfectly sensible points and questions.
Our owners need to stop thinking with their American sports franchise head and accept City are a model that should be followed.
If we dont we will be lucky if we get anywhere near challenging again for another 30years

Dippers going fully mental now, want the media and fans to ignore City with a table not showing us and whoever comes second to be the "proper" champions. The deluded vermin scum are actually serious, do they not realise how hated they are. I can see them going from bad to worse next season and will so enjoy it, they are seriously unhinged.

Doubt the media and fans will welcome proposals from a Super League club.
