I agree Lavelle as not really shone, but she never really been given a proper run in the team , and Mewis as looked great at times but also very ordinary at time too. But my point is, the club just seen happy to run a Women's football team without really bothered about them winning things !You seemed to know that questions had been asked in previous match threads, fancy me presuming you would have read the replies or even my reply to the guy you quoted just above there.
Lavelle hasn't deserved a 1st team place, she has been very inconsistent all season and looks like she hasn't settled as well as Mewis, who has looked a great player for us, it is a shame as Lavelle is a quality player for the US, quite possibly in the worlds top 10 but not for us, unfortunately.
Get your application form in for when they sack him.Last weeks Chelsea game was a must win. Greenwood was thrown in at centre back and got absolutely turned over by Kerr which lead to a goal. Meanwhile, Morgan who IS a centre back was sat on the bench.
Remarkably, Taylor had Morgan at left back and Greenwood in the middle against Barcelona... which we also lost 3-0. Both were idiotic choices from Taylor that ended both our champions league run and the title.
I agree the 2nd example was shocking but the 1st you don't know who is carrying knocks as you get precious little information at the best of times.
The thing is, all-season people have been moaning about Taylor and only an excellent Chelsea team have stopped us from winning the double and going back to the 3-0 Barcelona game, I'd say the inability to put the ball in the net was equally costly, we should have had 2 at least.

The second Rose comes on the tempo increases. As a team we do not get the ball into the opposition defensive areas quickly enough. Another left footer pen taker! Aaaaargh! Never trusted 'em! Caroline could have had a hat trick and another three spread around the team. We do not deliver an exciting pattern of play. At times it is the most tedious of all the teams at the top of the FAWSL. It's methodical, patient, but we'll never outdo CWFC playing like that.

Could have been a lot more than the 4 we scored but it's another 3pts in the bag. Just hoping that injury to Kelly doesn't turn out to be as bad as it looks.

Personally I fancy Chelsea dropping points against Reading, has i think they (Reading) could turn up and park the bus , like they tried at our place a couple of weeks back.If Chelsea were to draw their next game it would set up a tasty final day alright

City have brought in one of the best players in world football and never given her a run of games, absolutely criminal. Twenty minutes at the end of games, with the very occasional start here and there is simply not enough for a player to show what they can do. Hopefully Chloe’s injury is not serious, I mentioned a few weeks ago that she was having a great season, but needed to add more goals, since then she’s scored boatloads. She’ll be a big miss if she misses the rest of the season.

So either they think great player looks great in training lets not bother playing her for a laugh. Or for whatever reasons they aren’t seeing enough to think she’ll make the team better.Yet those that aren’t seeing her train or play much criticise the manager for not picking her. It’s the same with all our teams, no matter what success they have, or how close they get to winning something, some people always know better than those that see them every day and make their decisions based on what they see every day.Don't know, but they have done haven't they ?
