Why would they do that.

She has been injured and when she's been fit I think her position has been more than adequately filled by whoever. She is an exciting player and plays the game the way in a way that I would like to watch. I think she will move on and find a team that plays to her strengths. I would like her to occupy a starting berth next season and stay in the team.

Personally I fancy Chelsea dropping points against Reading, has i think they (Reading) could turn up and park the bus , like they tried at our place a couple of weeks back.

I hope they do, but I can't see CWFC having trouble with parked-bus defences. They have some technically gifted players, and a fair bit of pace.

Just watched an interview with Esme Morgan she scored her first goal for City and has been a blue all her life. She lost an aunt who had gone to all the games she could- god what a moving tribute. Also hope Chloe Kelly recovers soon, (and Chelsea slip up.. although unlikely)

The only thing I heard/read was the swollen knee. Perhaps she'll be scanned today and we might learn if she'll play again this season.

It seems Sly have bought the rights for the WSL for the next 3 years.

A minimum of 65(?) games to be shown, it seems.

I'm registered with the fa player and manage to watch most of the games, it has been great for those who follow the women's team. I agree with you about Rose Lavelle @Dave Ewing's Back 'eader , I too think she will leave which is a shame as she is a fantastic player. The comments in 'the scout' documentary on City + about her were quite interesting, that the club were aware of her for a long time. Such a shame we haven't made more use of her abilities.

I thought Lavelle had only signed for this season beacuse there was no women's football in the US, same as Mewis, their intention has always been to return when football returns there.

Dahlkemper has actually signed for us, so a different story.

That's unfortunate. Women are 4-8x more prone to ACL injuries in football than men, it's a bit of an epidemic and there's a lot of research trying to bring it down and catch up on surgical techniques which don't transfer very well from men's sport apparently.

American player on loan goes back to her own club, let's face it they came over because they had no league to play in for a season.

A shame as she was a great player but that is the thing with loans at the end of the day.
