Haaland and Grealish. Nothing more needed. Jesus and Sterling are the obvious deadwood, selling at least one can make it viable.
Deadwood? Wow, just fucking wow. I appreciate that everyone is entitled to their opinion, but to describe either player as deadwood is fucking mental mate. Danny Mills was deadwood, neither of these 2 you mentioned are deadwood at all. Both have loads to offer

Just rumors, but apparently Chelsea willing to spend nearly 250M on Lukaku, Kounde and Sancho.
Wouldnt surprise me in the slightest, they will get decent money (as they always seem to....) for sales.

He’s one of the total idiots on here. Ignore him. His family do.

Said on the Rice thread that I'd love for us to buy Rice, think he's class

But think that spending £75mil doesn't make sense when you have plenty of defensive midfielders around his age and ability available for £40mil in Locatelli, Camavinga, Neuhaus, Zakaria, Bissouma etc
According to the report, he’s just one of several names

Would personally love Bissouma.

Reliable sources. Great option but it depends on whether they qualify for the UCL.
Don't believe any source is reliable, can't see it myself, a Fernadinho replacement won't get enough games for Rice to want it nor for us to spend what it would cost for Rodri back up.

Dunno if there's any truth in this one?

Considering we have an abundance of centre-backs and this guy has a lack of actual functioning knees, I'd say this is a no-go

Can’t help if you think like that. I am a journalist, and I know there are journalists who take their job seriously and don’t put stuff out they haven’t checked or believe to be true. You just have to navigate the sea of rumors and judge them wisely. The approach of rejecting and ignoring everything surely is easier, so I don’t blame you.
But the report, to clarify, says Rice is only one of several name Pep and the staff talked about as Fernandinho replacement

To be honest, I don't consider transfer gossip journalism, non of the sports journalists I respect involve themselves in transfer gossip and rumour. As far as I can see 99% of tranfer rumours don't happen and are pure guesswork.

That is why someone like Pol is reliable. He doesn’t go around throwing five different names every week. And his work is always competent

I know for a fact his agent still reckons he’s off to Chelsea.

That’s not to say things won’t change, but Rice thinks he’s Chelsea bound since around last Oct.
