United thread 2020/21

They hate them because they've taken away the illusions that they had about their long-held entitlement to win things.
But they've used Woodward et al to create other illusions and social media and the press have played their part. They're going to be the first football club/entertainment outfit that has a media persona which gets fans to ignore completely that they actually play matches. It hasn't worked yet because there are still some recalcitrants who fell for the previous persona of a club that always wins and still haven't realised that the club doesn't want them to watch any football. United are all about £100 million hair do models, daring master criminals of the Greek islands and school meal delivery men. Their real rivals now aren't City (too good anyway) or Liverpool, but Coronation street. Their aim is no longer the PL title or the ... Europa league, but the BAFTAS and one day, hopefully, the Oscars. Their first attempt to premiere soon is "Pitch Invasion of the Martians".

Need to keep an eye on that slimy **** Woodward.

He's trying to work his way into politics and meeting in secret with everyone from Boris to editor of The Sun.

He's after a position of sporting influence at decision making level, I wonder why...
Sporting influence?

Surely not to do with football?

Isn't he the same geezer who put sanchez on 400k a week?

Funny how ex utd directors/CEO's feel they must take up these roles.

Sneeky sly bastards the lot of them, he needs to be kept well away from anything football related.

I hear United dropped an IPSO case against The Sun this week, as I say, Woodward is making allies.

The case had been ongoing for yonks and concerned United reporting them re fans turning up at his house the other year, allegations of prior knowledge.

Favourite quote from 'the Caf'

So we take a stand on behalf of all the smaller teams and the Premier League itself and this is their reward for us. Guarantee no other team would have been asked to play 4 in 8. Hated, adored, never ignored.

#glazersout :>
He should have put his name and address on it, so the “smaller team” fans know where to send the thank you cards.

What is an IPSO case?

With you saying Woodward is making allies, doesn't Ex sun and daily mail bullshitter Neil Ashton work for utds PR department?

No wonder Sunday has been brushed under the carpet.

And finance - based upon the contracts he negotiated for their players.

Ashton works mainly for Woodward as his PR, rather than United.

The Sun have been particularly light on United in recent days when it comes to the fan invasion.

Cunts are trying to paint a picture over the protests at the swamp, all this talk of fighting for the fans and making a stand for smaller clubs is bullshit.

It's all about wanting the Glazers out, but who do they replace them with?

I haven't heard or read of one realistic suggestion, they go on about wanting new owners to pump money into the club while at the same time going on about FFP and how it fails to tackle owner investment.

They have built themselves into a monster that can only eat itself, nobody will pay the asking price unless they can leverage the deal against the club. And any investor is going to want a dividend from the deal.

When they were floated on the stock exchange nobody was up in arms, they loved the money and it made them feel good about their "status" but now there are a very small group of people who could buy them and they would still find fault with them.

They are exactly where there greed and arrogance deserves them to be.

They enjoyed sucking the devils cock and complain now they have to swallow.

their becoming the turd that wont flush, ive even seen turds flush only to come foating back again, the 2nd of the two is def them, there just annoying now irelevant but annoying, one day its going to happen and they will get wiped out on Wall St,hope you enjoy your Thursday cup

I think all the media outlets have been very light but surprisingly talksport(I know) the other day had Jim White pushing for a points deduction but in hindsight that was probably to get the phone lines warmed up.

Utd get let off for Sundays events without so much a fine and us?

Won the league Cup, through to the champions league final and one win away from regaining the premier league yet all the twatters on twitter can post is regurgitated stories of sportswashing, human rights abuse and financial doping.

In-cre-di-ble!!
