Going to avoid MSM/Rags etc.

More annoyed Pep has put unnecessary pressure on us.

2 defeats to them dont actually tell the real story.Like it was our B team and Pep having another Ranieri moment challenging his own genius that cost us.

Anti-City MSM dont give a fuck about that

We should have won this game, got the League done.Got in their Heads instead of them in ours.

He could have tinkered himself to death.

Just read this on another site.

There is a saying in the Army,"rehearsals are for fucking things up,then getting it right on the day"

I am running with that until 29th May.

Let MSM wank them selves silly over the prospect of us losing.

Because our A team had hard match last Tuesday, and make no mistake that match will have taken a lot out of the guys that played, both mentally and physically, Pep was absolutely right to rest them. By the time our next match comes along it will have been ten days since the CL match and I think Pep will play the core of the CL team. Our two remaining league matches are nicely spaced at 5/6 days and I think the CL team will play these to keep them match fit before the final which is 6 days after the last league game.
What Pep did today makes perfect sense.

Inexcusable from Pep

Five at the back, one in midfield, for the whole game

Disgusting penalty from Sergio too

Given them such a shot in the arm for the final. Fuck right off.
They should be all happy and cocky for the final. Then we go in for kill with our BEST 11. Pep knows exactly what hes doing. No team beats us 3 times on the spin.

Pep is clearly playing Sun Tzu's art of war. At least that is what I am telling myself with regards to todays 5-1-4. Jesus and Sterling were tripping over each other. It was down to the players to finish it today. With all due respect, Chelsea were organised today and deserve to be in the final.

The thing that shocked me was that we had 0 out of 5 ball players on the pitch today.
And we still nearly beat them.

Not many realise the gap there is between the next matches.
I wanted to go stronger, but, your post illustrates why it wasn't necessary.
Pep can do as you say and we will all be very happy again - this was probably the last time that he could give the 'big boys' a proper rest, and the fact is, at half time, we should have been 2-0 up; had another penalty in the 2nd half; gave away 2 soft goals, one of which - the winner - was an extremely flukey finish.
So, applying this perspective, our disappointment today should be merely temporary, and we need to keep our eyes on the bigger prizes which will arrive in good time.

I said to my old man, that I would have been happy losing to Chelsea, before the match begun. I think it is the manner of the defeat that has made everyone emotional.

We were very close to beating them with a changed side which would have been a blow to them.

They lost Chistenson. Imagine if we had lost a player which we could quite easily have done had we played a full strength side after a really tough game in midweek. I think Pep is just being very considerate of his squad. If it keeps them all on side then maybe it pays off in the long run. It was also good to see Sterling getting a goal and providing some threat to CFC.

Glauber Berti to score the goal in the cup final. Either him or Kakhaber Tskhadadze.

Completely pissed off. Angry. Disappointed.
Why ................

We lost in stoppage time AGAIN
NINE changes - utter stupidity
Anthony Taylor (yet again against Chelsea) - he'd given us one penalty so wasn't going to give another (would have probably missed itanyway)
VAR - a joke or corruption in Stockwell
Ridiculous penalty from Sergio - how many have we missed this season?
The champagne stays in the fridge (until tomorrow when Villa take points off the rags)
And finally - it is Mother's Day in this part of the world and the result got the day off to a bad start for my wife.

Message for Pep - Nine changes for the Newcastle game - put all the A-listers back.

We all love Sergio but the fact he was more concerned with Sterling taking his chance off him instead of a bit of team togetherness in being 1-0 towards the title was disappointing to see. Not to mention that silly penalty attempt which could effectively have won us the game (who knows?) but 2-0 up at half time and it's a very different game altogether. As for Mendy...

Was a shocking performance, but we still should've been 2 up at half time, Aguero badly mucking up the penalty cost us the game and all momentum we had built up going in to half time. These things happen.

I wasn't to bothered by Pep rotating the squad, I was expecting that as he was playing chess with Tuchel for 3 weeks time, but the line up for the CL final picks itself after that, no one really banged the door down to get into the 11 for it.

Would probably be fitting in a odd season that we will wrap the title up by not playing, I can't see the Rags getting 3 wins in before we play next, and it will be somewhat of a anti climax not to win it ourselves with a result, but we've done the work to be crowned champions so it will come.

Bigger fish to fry in three weeks, we know what Chelsea will do and are all about, all this morning's result did for me was show what they're strengths are with the pace up front, and we'll have to be at our best to beat them.

I think Pep has played a blinder here, this is exactly what I wanted to happen with the formation and lineup.

There was no benefit in playing our strongest team today, all it would have done is allowed Chelsea to put things right against us for the CL final had we tore them apart today with our strongest team.

I think Chelsea know we’re going to start the team that started at home against PSG, that is by far our strongest team and formation and I believe that team will beat anyone.

I hope we’ve lulled them into a false sense of security.

I would also rather we win the league later, rather than sooner, I want us to go into it the final sharp. Ideally we play our best team against Brighton and win the league there and then use Everton as a warm up match. I hope West Ham wins all their remaining matches too and finish 4th.
