The paper boy is moaning that Leicester's winner came from a corner that should have been a throw in. No mention of all the dodgy penalties they've once again been given over the season, especially the one at Brighton awarded after the final whistle that gave them three points instead of one, or all the nailed on penalties denied their opponents.

The mard arse didn't have enough self awareness to question himself for his basic error in making two substitutions when defending a corner.

I think OGS actually made the only decisions that made any sense last night - that's why United supporters didn't agree with him! He must have known that the chances of their winning all their remaining games while we lost all of ours was about as likely as the Glazers paying to have the hole in the roof repaired. The league had gone but the top four was safe. With three games in 5 days to play he had to rotate for at least one or face the possibility of more injuries close to their Europa final. That final is of absolute importance to them since it would give them a place in pot one for the CL. So, who would you rotate against? Well, he probably wants to beat Liverpool more than anyone, especially as this would make it very difficult for Liverpool to get a top 4 finish; and for all people on here are convinced Liverpool are bound to be better next season, the loss of revenue might make that much more uncertain. So I suspect that the defeat isn't too painful. And for us it was very satisfactory. It's always pleasing when they lose, we got the title we were always going to win and the scousers are cursing that they way very well have kissed the top 4 farewell.

And just to reassure those rags who think they didn't win the title purely because they are "in transition", of the City team which started the first leg against PSG only de Bruyne (bought with Pep's approval) and Foden had been at the club when Pep arrived and Phil hadn't played for the first team then (he was only 16) and for the second leg Fernandinho played as well. So City has made a "Guardiola transition" - an almost totally new team - while during this process winning three titles, four league cups and an FA cup. A bit better than reaching one final and getting nowhere near the league!
