Non refundable was plastered everywhere over it though and it didn’t really specify about if travel not allowedHe’d have to we booked 2days as advertised not in and out
They literally put out a release today saying they will put on travel for fans...Ever since Turkey went into the red zone, the silence from City has been deafening
I hope there's serious discussions going on behind the scenes to stop the fans getting totally fucked over like it appears they are
But we are from Monday. I received an email from a travel company today saying:It fucking isn’t open for business, that’s the point. UK visitors aren’t currently allowed.
And everyone took for granted that our reopening, lifting of travel ban and green list status for Portugal as of 17th May meant we could travel to Portugal. All Portugal had said was that there was a possibility it would be lifted, not that it would definitely be lifted. I must admit though, I started to take it for granted when we were offered 6,000 tickets! It fucking isn’t open for business, that’s the point. UK visitors aren’t currently allowed.
Yes non refundable on a 48 hour package but we’ve not got that it seems , think he’d have to refund as terms and conditions have changed since we bookedNon refundable was plastered everywhere over it though and it didn’t really specify about if travel not allowed
If they did try and pull that they can forget about future city trips that’s for sure. They have laid those trips in under the full understanding that those people would be trying to go to the game.Non refundable was plastered everywhere over it though and it didn’t really specify about if travel not allowed
They were jumping the gun. No such announcement from Portugal. But we are from Monday. I received an email from a travel company today saying:
Portugal is open! Travellers from England and Scotland can visit this green-listed beauty from Monday, May 17.
The govt. offered Wembley and looked to discuss options with uefa. The govt were happy for 12,000+ English fans to attend but refused to let 17k spongers, corporate and hangers on coming but not isolating. Its not party politics. Its being sensible. The British Government should have not even offered Wembley. Stay out of it as whether you like the EU or not we are out. EUFA is predominantly EU based members. Think
It’s open in a few days time from 17th , 12 days before the final. It fucking isn’t open for business, that’s the point. UK visitors aren’t currently allowed.
The Portuguese government were meeting today. They’ve extended the ‘state of calamity’ until May 30th. No final decision on international travel but it’s being reported that ban for non EU third countries will also be extendedBut we are from Monday. I received an email from a travel company today saying:
Portugal is open! Travellers from England and Scotland can visit this green-listed beauty from Monday, May 17.
I give up. Have you read anything on here or any media reports tonight? It’s open in a few days time, before the final.
Well he didn't refund me for the spare he sold me for Stoke when we got fogged off...Yes non refundable on a 48 hour package but we’ve not got that it seems , think he’d have to refund as terms and conditions have changed since we booked
Don't offer if you are not in the gang. Its called politics. The govt. offered Wembley and looked to discuss options with uefa. The govt were happy for 12,000+ English fans to attend but refused to let 17k spongers, corporate and hangers on coming but not isolating.
Portugsl seem happy to have the 17k but no real fans. Hardly the givts fault
Been good every time I’ve used and remember then refunded for some at start of covid when games got called off don’t think they’d try having people over but could already have involved costs with plane hires, slots at Manchester airport etcIf they did try and pull that they can forget about future city trips that’s for sure. They have laid those trips in under the full understanding that those people would be trying to go to the game.
