Completely agree. It's either a ballot or not. Why there seems to be a line of entitlement between above or below 22k points is suspicious. I rather think that whoever suggested this at a City Matters meeting was thinking more along the lines of They Matter. It's either loyalty or lottery, not a bit of the former for the select few.I've actually given up all hope of seeing us in this final.
Add to that the way the club have decided to allocate tickets for the only home game this season - I have 19k loyalty points and have watched us all over Europe and England (I've watched us at the Etihad surrounded by tourists too) and I'll go watch Altrincham and Bolton instead.
Top end of football has nothing to do with supporters these days - it's beautiful to watch but it's soulless.
