Seeing as everything's no longer up in the sky with the high flying birds I think we should bring it down a tad and try and get along a bit better. After all we're not going to live forever.

I haven't missed a home game since 1976, a run of 1108 games over 44 years. I'm sure plenty of other fans have personal records that they treasure too. Why are these people being treated differently?

The treatment is different because whatever records we have as individuals, the club only knows about games attended in the last 20 years or so.
Whether it's right or not is another matter.
As it's a home game I'd base it on length of having a season ticket but that will also have complaints for other reasons.
I'd also ban all those who wet their knickers over the super league.

Seasoncard Holders
From 9am, Tuesday 11th May, all 2019/20 Seasoncard holders will be able to enter the Manchester City v Everton ballot. Simply log in to your online account to submit your entry. The ballot will close at 11:59pm on Thursday 13th May.

Cityzens Matchday Members
From 9am, Tuesday 11th May, existing Cityzens Matchday members will be able to enter the Manchester City v Everton ballot. Simply log in to your online account to submit your entry. The ballot will close at 11:59pm on Thursday 13th May.

The Club will send an e-mail to all supporters who qualify based on their Ticket Points, and all supporters successful in the ballot on Friday 14th May to provide further clarity on the ticket purchasing process. From Saturday 15th May to Sunday 16th May, these supporters will then have an opportunity to purchase tickets.

Supporters who are unsuccessful will be placed in a balloted ‘reserve pot’ and notified in advance, by e-mail, of the ‘reserve pot’ and sales window. From Monday 17th May, if tickets remain unsold after the 48 hour window has closed, supporters in the ‘reserve pot’ will have the opportunity to purchase tickets until such time the tickets are sold out. There is no guarantee that the opportunity to buy will be offered to the ‘reserve pot’.

We've done seasoncard holders a favour doing it this way. I understand people saying it should be on points only (although neither the club nor City Matters agrees with that point of view). But people criticising the system we've come up with because some tickets are going to people like Sean Riley, Dave Wallace, @East Level 2 @Bill and others I know, who prioritise watching City above pretty well everything else, really need to stop moaning as if you haven't got the requisite points it doesn't affect you negatively in the slightest.

I'm assuming Prestwich that you're on the City Matters group.

If so I commend you for your work. Your post above makes things abundantly clear - something I feel was lacking in the clubs ballot communication.
I wasn't happy originally as it appeared ST holders were being lumped in with Citizens.
It appears to me now that there are 2 pots - one for each set of supporters based on proportion of the attendance.
Something to feed back to the club for me

I don't usually bother commenting on these forums but I was just stating a fact. I haven't ever been abusive to you so I don't think you need to refer to me as being 'hard of thinking'. And to say the allocation came out of the Cityzens allocation doesn't follow does it because if it was done on points for s/t holders primarily there would be no allocation for cityzens.

Your reference to Sean Riley, Dave Wallace etc - I have no problem with these guys getting tickets especially as a subscriber to KOTK. And for what it's worth I prioritise watching City above anything else especially bearing in mind until a year ago I lived 280 miles away from the Etihad and still went to every game home, and every away I could get a ticket for. I just haven't been able to do it for so long as some due to work/ distance etc. Referring back to KOTK I enjoy reading your contributions but I think you let yourself down on this forum on occasions with your language etc. Just rise above it.

And again, I explained that the club wanted a normal matchday mix, which included all types of ticket holders, including Hospitality & Cityzens. So the option of all tickets going to seasoncards was simply never a prospect.

Given the context, we've done the best we possibly can for seasoncard holders.

And I get it I just don't agree that's all. Not getting uptight about it and if i don't get a ticket fair enough. We're allowed to express a view aren't we. No different to having a healthy debate in the pub. We're all on the same side just different opinions. Who knows maybe someone at the club reads these forums and takes note of us 'hard of thinking' types !
