Why bother repeating this again like a good news story without any details?

I had my 2nd yesterday ,nhs worker.
I read somwhere,if you are lucky enough to get a ticket
you have to have a negative test within 24 hours of the game
proof you have had both vaccinations
and then on exit of the ground another covid test.
Not true.

so its a home test after the event ,not a test leaving the stadium
how would they enforce that ?
That’s why they won’t give it to anyone at random ... only responsible people (who will also give undertaking beforehand) ... that takes out everyone on here ;)

It’s fairly simple, the same test is being given to thousands of secondary school kids who do it twice a week at home and then have to upload it to schools website and on nhs website via a link and you just put in your result there. Each test kit is barcoded and issued to students with their name against whatever kit boxes issued to them so all tracked that way. I guess they’d use a similar system for the test event.

Knew I'd read it somewhere

"The Wembley pilots will be the Leicester City/Southampton FA Cup semi-final on 18 April, the Carabao Cup Final between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur on 25 April, and the FA Cup Final on 15 May.

These are likely to involve spectators having vaccine passports."

It's the first step back towards some sort of normality, can't some people just welcome that without complaining about something or other?
They don't call this place Bluemoan for nothing. I'm a great believer in looking at an issue from all sides but some of the carping on here goes way beyond that at times.
