According to that twat Walton, there was a 7 (seven) second gap between the hand ball and the goal, so it would be another phase of play. I am not making this up that is what he said?
That twat doesn’t know his arse from his elbow so I wouldn’t take one bit of notice of what he has to say.

If they retain VAR and I don't believe it's going anywhere then the offside rule needs to change. Measuring a player to the milimetre of being offside isn't right.

If either of your feet are in front of the last defender its offside and thats that. Having a hand offside and ruling that out is bullshit, always has been/.
I’d put a sensor in the vest they wear. Easy then

Agreed, VAR can stay as long as the offside rule is changed.
If you change the rule then you'll still have borerline decisions. I think they should do a quick scan of all goals and penalties to see nothing glaring has been missed, but without the lines, and anything that you can't see without further tools should be called as it was on the field of play.

'Dodgy goal' my arse. And there would have been half hour extra time if it stood. That doesn't mean Chelsea would go on to win it as you seem to assume.
The forensic examination of every goal is turning the game to shit for the average fan. Spectators wanna see goals but when they're constantly ruled out (67 last season) people will begin to turn off or not turn up.
both sets of fans were emotionally invested in that moment and it's better that Leicester fans went away jubilant and celebrating a cup they won fairly than Chelsea fans walking away celebrating because Leicester were screwed out of the cup in 90 minutes and forced into an unpredictable extra-time or penalties through an offside goal.

VAR didn't ruin anything yesterday, it just pissed off Chelsea fans who had to give back a goal they weren't entitled to keep.

Anything that pisses Chelsea fans off is worth it's weight in gold!

When they're looking for the slightest forensic reason to cancel a goal it becomes negative. milimetres ofside, slightest foul, slightest handball, anything to cancel the goal.

More goals is more exciting. I do think FIFA/UEFA themselves will demand that goals are not being stopped in this way.

I was a nuetral yesterday and I was willing chelsea to score and take it to extra time and all the drama of that, then pens maybe, a good afternoons watching. We were cheated of that by something that sees football beyond the eye of humans, its crazy imo.

It has its uses thoug,. I am not totally anti-VAR

we weren't cheated of anything, because the correct team won. I don't want a contrived farce where we get an artificial extra-time because we're allowing goals that shouldn't stand.

Probably explains why BT didn’t show the ref the Lorente handball in the CL but showed it after the decision was made.

Are we being deceived?
VAR commander is NOT A QUALIFIED MATCH OFFICIAL which makes it even more baffling that they are an integral part in the decision making chain..... unless of course it's bent in which case it makes PERFECT sense.

Flim-flammed is the term, I think. The Baggies players, their fans and all those 'on the day' Baggie fans were well and truly fucked over!
