A genuine question. Why would someone enter the ballot and then not buy a ticket if successful?

These tickets are reserved, for the reserve pot.

Make sure you open the mail in the gmail app/inbox. And make sure gmail imports is active.

Mine downloaded fine without the gmail imports setting, isn't that just for automatic downloads into Gpay?

Well I'm not making it up and if you watch it back from the Sky coverage you can hear it, albeit faintly as I'd imagine it wasn't many out of our end that did it, but it did happen.

All I can say was I was at the game and heard nothing, may have been Spurs fans ?, not City fans

You have solved it! I was using my Samsung email to access my gmail. Didn't realise I had to use specific the gmail app! Still don't understand why but thanks! Thanks for the other suggestions too from the other members

No I couldn’t sort it, I’ve just downloaded the ticket onto my dads iPhone through Apple Pay

I’ve never done it before; thought it would perk some people up on the reserve list.

Don’t see why so many would go in the ballot and not buy, a few but 1000 seems a lot. Wonder if people entered friends and familly in the ballot by accident and just bought one or two, or were double entered through friends and family and won twice?

Possibly they made, say, 8000 seats available on the planner with 7000 Seasoncard holders/Cityzens members allocated those seats in the first ballot. Then whatever's left goes to the others and anything else goes into the reserve pot.

I'd be quite surprised that 1,000 hadn't been taken up that were all allocated in the first ballot.

Must have been a draw for ticket then draw for reserve pot then rest of us got an you're unsuccessful e-mail when then got around to it.
