I’ll give it a go to explain why I’m prepared to pay it. First off the prices charged are shite. But I have a decent job, I foster two kids and my wife loves City too. Outside of the family I only have two passions, travel and football (City). I’m 51, wife 53, who knows if we’ll ever get to another CL final? If I’m going to travel to Porto and attend the game I’d like to be able to have a decent seat and see the game. We sacrifice nights out, expensive clothes blah blah and spend it on trips and City. This combines both. Oh and our flights were both £120 as we took a punt 10 days ago on Porto so saved a bit there. You are a long time dead and there’s no pockets in shrouds.

Do you know why I don’t have a season ticket ?

Do you know why I only do 7-8 games a year (PRE COVID)

What would you do in my position? in Porto for free, choice of ticket at €600 Euro or NO ticket. Go on, answer that question so we can see if you choose UEFA HATE over CITY LOVE

We could go on and on about prices, supply and demand but I not here to hijack the thread on that

Good luck to all in getting tickets but in the future some should not be complaining if season card prices or other prices increase

Do you agree with the price you may have to pay for the ticket - €600?

Lucky you to have points for travel etc. Others do not.

I will not understand the willingness to pay over the odds

That is our main difference

It doesn’t matter what I think of the price of the ticket. Thats the price being offered in my scenario.

I understand your point..however there are many City fans who because of work, location,health,who are unable to visit the Etihad on a regular basis.. we are still Blues..someone posted a few weeks ago a video of guys in India celebrating a City win..in my view they are still Blues..They will probably never see City play..I have had tickets to finals because season ticket holders did not wish to go due to the cost..See my earlier post, I wish all of you regular supporters to go..If on the off chance tickets are available ,I will go..I dont regard myself as a glory hunter, just someone who bleeds Blue and if I get the chance to see history I will take it, but not at the expense of you regulars.But please dont knock any Blue.

I would be very reluctant to pay €600 as I don't LOVE UEFA as you do

By accepting to pay the price you accept them.

Can you not see that?
