I agree fuck the cartelI'm actually glad the government stuck to what they wanted UEFA to do.
UEFA for the 'fans'
Thats what I'm hoping forHope the club do official trips
sounds like they’d be cheaper than normal flights
You only need to quarantine for 10 days if you're staying in the UK for that length of time, if you're just staying in the UK for a couple of nights and you're traveling from an amber country you just complete a test and isolate until you travel back if you're negative.
We are literally just talking about UEFA wanting exemptions for red country corporate jollies, for whom the guidelines wouldn't be as flexible, because they're red list countries.
It’s because of a pandemic, not uefa though.Hope so, still a piss take in the grand scheme of things but that'd be a great deal better than the rumoured 1k.
Not true, you must quarantine from an Amber country. Only exception is if you are TRANSITING THROUGH the UK. Then you can avoid quarantine and instead self isolate, under specific rules that don’t include going to a football match or corporate socializing.
This thread isn’t to debate the rules of entry to the UK. But it’s clear GOV.UK wanted to enforce the existing rules and UEFA said we can’t move the final to the UK unless you give ‘us’ dispensation

I heard that UEFA preferred Wembley but the UK Govt refused permission for thousands of sponsors, VIPs etc from amber nations to enter without quarantine. It's UEFA's fault it's not being held at Wembley. If they were arsed about the pandemic it'd be at Wembley.
