It was a foul. On Cancelo. He's not even looked at Wellbeck who's pulled him down. Never a red card.I know it probably wasnt even a foul but smart players read the situation; your away at tin pot brighton, the ref’s a total gullible clean shirt just looking to jump on the bandwagon and theres a bunch of overexcited southern wankers giving it the full force of bias.
Dont even touch the opposition player and give the ref a chance to send you off - and its welbeck on his left foot with the ball bouncing high. The XG in that situation is almost negative
Didn’t they just. Didn’t mince it one bit.At least talksport, I know... are calling out the ref
I don't look at stats mate. He plays every game and we win pretty much every game.I think you get impressed by pass completion stat percentages from a conservative passer of the ball in the most dominant possession side in Europe, and don't understand what you're watching. There we have it.
There isn't a single attribute Rodri has over Fernandinho besides height and strength, and even then he regularly gets done shoulder to shoulder, and put on his arse, in a way you don't see happen to Fernandinho, even at the ripe old age of 36.
Rodri is a glaring weakness in this side. In a key area of the pitch.
Why? Did you not see the rest of the game?
:)
It wasn’t. They drew the lines after the match. It wasn’t even close. It was
Think your correct, minutes later Brighton player was running when taking throw-in, nowt givenPlay was restarted with a throw to them so presumed it was a foul throw-in from us. Lino seemed to be indicating foot was off the floor.
Excellent post. Under the circumstances we did reasonably well but at 2-0 it was far too open. Midfield was being over run. Mahrez had a shocker . Can't see how he stayed on the pitch. Pep must think he needs the yardage. He just wasnt too bothered . That was atrocious from a professional. Rodri made the mistake for their second I think. Along with the terrible refereeing it's all just about getting City beat . Who is going to reprimand Atwell as the league is over ? But I hate losing especially when I see alleged corruption.I have to say, halfway through that I decided to stop joining in the live match forum because I'm shocked at how many fans do nothing but slag off everything we do wrong. I thought the likes of Neville was bad enough but he's got nothing on some of you lot.
I didn't want to see them out there killing themselves for a nothing game tonight with the league done and the CL final around the corner. Pep already knows who his team is, and let's be honest that was their cup final for the season. So I can take this defeat with ease.
I've always tried to be objective and if the ref and/or VAR is having a bad game I've given them the benefit of the doubt, but it was appalling tonight. Why was the stamp on Jesus not a penalty, yet we get those given against us? I get the ref making a mistake but why is it when one of our players is pulled down in the box it's not even looked at? I thought the whole point of VAR was to put all that sort of thing right, so it clearly doesn't work. Something's wrong, and tonight was a total farce. Even though he scored, Foden was pulled back three times and the player wasn't even spoken to; then he was fouled shortly after the goal. Gundogan's gone off injured but a kick on the knee isn't a red, but a tangle of arms is?
But all that I've come to expect. What I don't expect is so called fans expecting us to paly at 100mph twice a week and slagging every player off who makes a mistake. Go try it. Nobody can perform at the top level every single game, and everybody makes mistakes. Given the position we were in 20 years ago I can take the odd poor game, the odd loss here and there, why can't you?
Well Mr Spock you are right, but also so wrongI know it probably wasnt even a foul but smart players read the situation; your away at tin pot brighton, the ref’s a total gullible clean shirt just looking to jump on the bandwagon and theres a bunch of overexcited southern wankers giving it the full force of bias.

Gave me flashbacks to Ged Taggart against Blackburn all those years ago...Garcia can't leave quickly enough, the worst game I've seen a full back play for a very very very long time. I understand he's not a full back but he was a complete disaster, do Barca really want him?
Ecatly, that's the way to respond. Last thing we want is someone whinging like Mourinho at every incident, it will only end up with some going out there to wind him up. Nobody except Brighton will remember tonight. He’s a clever bloke, even I’ve called down now and can’t see how it benefits us or him was he to call out everything that happened tonight.
Pick the title up weekend then go and pick the CL up end of the month, easy
After that performance I can see Barca halving his wagesGarcia can't leave quickly enough, the worst game I've seen a full back play for a very very very long time. I understand he's not a full back but he was a complete disaster, do Barca really want him?
I'm sure Cancelo was doing the sums in his head as he went to clear the ball.... ;-)Dont even touch the opposition player and give the ref a chance to send you off - and its welbeck on his left foot with the ball bouncing high. The XG in that situation is almost negative
Grealish would be an excellent addition. Not sure about Kanye.I hope he’s ok. He for the goal today but slow as a tank in midfield. Wish we’d sell him and rodri and get grealish and kante
I think the AR reckoned Bernardo defended himself too strongly against the big bloke trying to clatter him from behind. That one I didn't understand. How can you be offside from a throw in?
