Brighton (A) | Post-Match Thread

The result doesn’t matter. The farcical refereeing does. When is someone with balls going to call this out.
Thought Brighton played well. Bossouma looks a good player. I can see why would be linked.
not like Pep to go nuts at Potter. they are pals. If brighton were more robust than usual then that’s on the referee.
Hope Gundo is fine.
chill blues and just savour Phil’s goal.
Well he said something like " no respect " to him.

But the two things are linked. We've seen it before. Referee allows our opponents to get away with fouls that we get punished for, and before long, they've injured one of our players.

The bias from the commentary was ridiculous. You can have an opinion either way about the potential Jesus penalty, but they literally didn't even mention the possibility that it could be a penalty until it was confirmed that VAR were checking it. I honestly thought when they stopped the game that they were going to try and claim a penalty in our box for Dias(?) being dragged back.
Agree with all that. Stone wall foul on Gundogan and nothing given and to make matters worse he picks up an injury from the foul.
The foul on Jesus in the area and nothing given...We could go on all night about the officials it was that bad. Genuinely up their with the worst I've ever seen tonight it was horrendous.

BT Sport were a fucking joke too, Shit station along with their shit commentators.

One of the most bent games of football I’ve seen in a very very long time

after what I’ve seen so far in tonight’s matches.. I’m convinced the PL have instructed the officials in the matches that have nothing riding on them to look after the home teams as a reward to the fans

even so it was 12 v 9 for 80 minutes and we were playing 1970 Brazil in front of 80,000 rabid ultras if you believe the two cocks commentating

4 decisions ...

Our red card
Their non red card
Their offside goal
Our non given pen

and they were just the major bent decisions.. there were probably about a dozen more shake your head decisions that didn’t lead to anything
It was for the masses to bring us down. However we should have killed the same game after Fodens goal

This is what frightens me to death for the Final. An unjust red card, or some other VAR farce. 11 v 11, a level playing field and we’re good. There’s other things we just can’t control though.

Dead Rubber but shocking after Cancello got sent off. Garcia will do well to get any game time with Barcelona after that performance. Rodri makes too many mistakes in the middle. Defence was too shaky without Walker. Just hope Kev and Gundo are ok for the big one.
Barcelona B player if he is lucky. Will be at a Segunda side within a year.
