Fair point.

Awful

Refereeing diabolical, cancelo not sending off, but to be honest , once Brighton stopped kicking shit out of us , they played good football. Yes we had 10 men but so did Leeds against us, sometimes it’s not easy to dominate 10 men defences. Obviously it’s not our game to give possession away snd defend, so we paid fir it. Toussard and benzouma looked good. Don’t get the Garcia thing, why didn’t Ake get more minutes, Garcia got wrong side of burns for third goal and stood appealing for offside when he wasn’t.love to know what was said to get pep riled up at potter.. looking forward to next seasons game.Rodri when pressed can panic and play those loose balls, ferna fir CL please.

I am sorry I know I have bitched and moaned on here. But if we win the most important match this year then we will forget that this match ever happened.
Not arsed about the result.. just 2 things troubled me.. gundo’s injury and the officiating

the officiating and VAR was quite disturbing and really does raise serious questions

Yep the officiating really was puzzling.

Softest red card in the history of soft red cards, i don't know if Softest is a word but that was never ever a red card
It was dead soft, but he shouldn't be giving the referee a decision to make. 1-0 and ten minutes into the game. Playing with ten men for 80 mins in a stadium with fans for the whole game was always going to be a big ask.

It was a red. Eddie wax poor Garcia was worse and we got exactly what we deserved
I don’t think it was a red. Welbeck clipped the back of Cancelo s leg causing him to tumble. It should have been a free kick to us

they should definitely have had a red for a reckless dangerous challenge

and the less said about the late pen the better. It’s one of the worst VAR decisions ever

get those 3 key decisions right and we stroll that game

anyway not arsed about the result, could be a blessing in the long run

just arsed about the reffing

I think the penalty is the howler, but I'm really unsure why Jesus nor anyone else really appealed. Between this and the Foden one it's two absolute stonewall penalties that somehow VAR has completely failed to give *and* that our players have been too honest to really appeal for.

I won’t. Corrupt officials will be here next season ready to go again. Plant an undercover ref and blow this racket wide open. Need to stop watching line of duty ;)
