You don't. City's website on that point is wrong. Any test performed on Thursday, Friday or Saturday will be ok for the return flight on Sunday

Coronavirus (COVID-19) testing before you travel to England - GOV.UK

Take a coronavirus test before you travel to England

You must have proof of a negative coronavirus (COVID-19) test to travel to England.
You must take a test even if:
You must take the test in the 3 days before the service on which you will arrive in England departs.
For example, if you travel directly to England on Friday, you must take the test on the Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
Cheers mate. Assuming you’ve diligently had a look at the gov website which I should have done too, but bluemoon is now the place for all rapid response enquiries ;) haha !

Anyone seen if you can do the 'pull through for under 16s. I qualify at 3pm, on cup scheme as is my lad....can usually do a pull through.... its that possible?

The club say anything after 1pm on the thursday is sufficent to get in the stadium

However I thought stadium entry was 48 hours before and 1pm thursday is more than 48 hours?

It's 72 hours before for a PCR test (which this would be for travel to Portugal), 48 hours if you are using LFT for entry

Ah right, so the PCR test you need to do to get into Portugal covers you also for getting in the stadium?

just been on and ordered the match ticket and official club travel.

It does offer the chose do you want club travel or independent travel

you need to enter your passport number before you can complete the booking
My son bagged a £60 one this morning, big saving on the other prices. Did you manage to do the same?

Tickets weren't flying off the shelves... I've got back row of the £60 block, next row up was the £150. It's going to be 20 degrees, sunny intervals and a gentle breeze.

Flying Thursday to Lisbon. I think I’m going to need a rapid antigen test for the match & flight home (Sunday) as the pre departure PCR won’t cover me (over 72hrs). Has any found anywhere in Lisbon / Porto to do these tests?

Yes, that's right.
Phew, and thanks
The website is appalling, I just spoke to customer services to check my loyalty points and those of my kids, and they told me you can’t get them off the main website, you have to log out, and log back in with mancity.com/tickets in your browser and only then does it show loyalty points! For someone born in a non computer era this sounds like utter fucking bollocks

It will cover you. It just needs to be in the three days before, see rules on gov.uk
