Harry Kane

I reckon if he needs to hand in a transfer request to get the move that's exactly what he will do regardless of the financial impact
Well if he does that's a great sign, a totally committed Harry Kane would be some signing, very much a marquee signing.

I HATED Craig Bellamy. Until I loved him. C’est la vie.
Me too. Not sure we’ve ever had a player who turned my pre-conceptions round so much. I took him for a belligerent journeyman player. Not only did he do it on the field for us but he did some excellent charity work too.

For the sake of balance. I LOVED Milner. Then he left on a free for L1 and now he’s the biggest **** in world football outside Neymar IMO.

No but if somebody calls Dias shit and he goes on to become POTY it doesn't say much about their ability to judge a players ability either. So they should probably expect some criticism.
So let’s make a list of things that have to happen for Kane’s eventual signing to be considered a success according to the people defending him:
1) he has to be the league’s top scorer
2) he has to have a near perfect record with penalties
3) he can’t disappear in (most) big games
4) he can’t get a months-long injury
I’ve been promised all that by the majority here

Aguero has been the league's top scorer once. Are you suggesting he's a failure?

Kinnell, you don’t half talk bollix sometimes. You and your hard-on for Haaland.

Absolutely not
But I have been told that Kane would score a specific number of goals here that automatically means he would be the PL top scorer unless there’s a revelation somewhere else

Not even just that lol... Have you seen how low Spurs' wages are compared to the rest of the big 6?
They could double their wages and doubt they’d go.
Apart from the fact the two players mentioned have earned their position in the squad.
Sterling is in a bad run of form but has played a huge part in our success.
Mahrez has been outstanding and has worked his bollocks off to get where he is now.
For us to say off you go, to SPURS! Lol
I’m all for buying a player to replace what we have, but not if that makes us weaker in other areas, that goes for the people mentioning Gabby as well.
