My question is, Can we get someone in the team who knows how to put 20/30 a season away regularly and stop fucking up golden chances every game.

Answer to that question for me is Kane or Haaland. Either will do.

I see you’ve already downgraded Kane’s scoring contribution from 30+ Goals to 20/30 goals.
So In the space of a few hours you’ve already contradictec yourself. Are you also going to amend how many trophies you’re guaranteeing that he’s going to win for us?

The biggest question at City at the moment is how do we become more clinical in front of goal.

Aguero and Jesus have 10 PL goals between them. Chris Wood, Danny Ings and Callum Wilson all have 12 goals a piece.

No one would have backed Gundog to be our leading scorer this season and it’s a testament to him and Pep that he does as well as he has. We cannot assume he can repeat this feat in the future.

A top striker is a must for this club in the summer.

Therefore, if you genuinely think that Harry Kane is not a top, clinical striker then you are either a WUM or know fuck all about football.

respectfully, that's a completely unrealistic valuation of one of the best strikers in world football. would you sell KDB for 60m? He is 29, after all. If Harry kane played for us would you say his true value is 60 million? Let's not take the piss here.

You do know that City are the highest scoring team in the premier league? This is because we haven’t relied on the old “ hoof it to the big guy up front” but instead have had goals coming from all over the pitch from technically gifted players.

Fortunately Pep understands this. You stick with your Stuart Pearce understanding of the game.

Are you also suggesting that Kane is not a technical player?

Id definitely hedge a look at the following lottery numbers;
10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and bonus ball of 4 prem titles in a row.

I don’t want him, I’ve never once questioned his ability.
I don’t want him even there’s no chance we get Haaland (my preferred choice).
I just can’t get excited by thought of him signing, underwhelmed is a word I’ve used already.
The price is playing a huge part in that, not his fault, not our money etc..
Don’t care, he’s gonna cost more than £100m, probably closer to £130m and I’d expect a younger more exciting, fitter player for that kind of money.
I also don’t buy into what everyone is saying about him transforming us, winning 4 premier leagues in a row, back to back champions leagues, 40-60 goals a season.
I just don’t see it.
He’ll score plenty, most half decent strikers would score a decent amount for us, we’re a strikers dream.
But with a fully fit and firing Sergio we never managed 4 premier leagues in a row and flattered to deceive in the CL.
No videos, posts or stats will convince me otherwise.
I don’t want him.
To be clear that doesn’t mean I won’t support him if he arrives, he’ll be a blue so will get my support.
I’ve supported some right useless lazy wankers who’ve played for us through the years, so that won’t change regardless of how I feel : )
