I'm not sure he'll go for Fern over Rodri. Rodri has played most big games and was rested yesterday. The risk with Fern is that he could pick up cheap yellow cards especially if the ref is card-happy!

Very rare he gets sent though as he’s not daft. Think Rodri might have played himself out of it last week at Brighton. Plus Dinho was superb against PSG and again yesterday.

You started drinking already with that line up? We’re playing Chelsea ffs not Pep’s Barca and we won’t put our reserves out like we did for their 2 recent victories. Also your formation to counter their pace moves our quickest defender who can stop their counter further up the pitch and wider.

Wouldnt be surprised Gabby starts for Bernie in that false nine position too...Gabby was excellent vs chelsea in the league and was also great yesterday...If Walker is 100% focused then I dont know how their counterattacks with werner or Havertz ever work vs him. It will (should) be Walker's game..

We should be able to win this comfortably imo..They dont have PSG's pace or threat in counter and we handled PSG well enough..

Bernardo Silva started all 6 CL knockout games, started in 4 of the group games and came on as a sub in the other 2. No way he should be dropped in the Final after playing a significant role in helping the team reach there.

A villa friend who was at the game yesterday said Chelsea were shocking. He reckons if we play at even 75% of our ability and they play like that we will leather them on Saturday

A CL final is a completely different matter and a whole other state of mind.

Kind of goes without saying, but the first goal is going to be SO crucial in what will almost certainly be a very tight game.

We often go chasing games when we fall behind and this could risk not only going 2 behind on the counter, but also the possibility of losing our heads a bit and the risk of yellows/reds.

Score first and we can manage the game in a way that suits us, by drawing Chelsea out from what will no doubt be a very defensive set up, which could play right into our hands.

Already nervous...gonna be an absolute wreck by Saturday

Chelsea won't know what's hit them, as we'll pass and move like lightening, reaching our final destination of European Champions. Vengeance will be reaped for our cup semi final exit.
Without strengthening, the team can go another season without being broken up, so, injuries permitting, this could be the first of many - our turn to dominate Europe.

Maybe the game has come at the wrong time for Chelsea. Worst run of form under Tuchel and should be worse still if not for an obvious pen not given at our place.

They’ve had to win pretty much every game for a while to get top 4 and might have run out of steam. Their recent must win games haven’t gone well.

Hopefully already qualifying for CL will take even more edge off them. I really think we can win this and win it well, my main worry is the ref.
