They don't know for sure but they're working on the basis that things will return to normal sooner rather than later.

Does anyone know how the season ticket system will operate next season, Surly they won't be going over to that silly download onto your phone system they used for the Everton game,

There's 3 off us with ST's and I'm the youngest at 72 and the only one with a computer and neither of us have a phone that can use that e-ticket bollocks stuff. I'm dam sure all three of us will not be renewing if they try to force that on us.

Probably worrying about nothing but I've got everything crossed it will be a nice simple season card like it was before. Here's hoping

I guess by time I am 72 the season ticket will be a micro chip inserted or injected into your hand..hold all your data and can buy a beer by waving your hand over a pad.......technology moves fast! (beer will still be shite at Etihad in 2040!)

I'm not moaning about yesterday, and by the way I did not get a ticket but the guy that did had over 22000 points. I'm moaning about the fact that neither of us have a phone that we can use, so all three of us would need to spend a few hundred quid on PC equipment and a mobile phone. Which we still wouldn't be able to use because were all senile.

I had my first AstraMicrosoft chip about 10 weeks back, the backup 2nd chip was installed at the weekend!

As far as I'm aware, no major retailer has a policy of only accepting Google Pay and Apple Pay. Though lots of people use them they are hardly the dominant means of payment. When I'm at the supermarket I see the vast majority of people paying by card. I groan when I see some **** in front of me at the checkout get their phone out to pay as it invariably involves several attempts at getting the reader to accept it before they end up paying by card.

Pretty much as happened at the turnstiles yesterday except you had to keep trying until it worked as there wasn't any alternative.

Spoke to my account manager today to sort CL tickets and asked about renewals.

They are going to send out info after the CL is out of the way next week. They are planning on (and expecting) a full stadium come August and renewals will be proceeding as normal.
