I don't understand why it's always the biggest that is the best. We might not be the biggest club, the richest club, the club with most internet fans ,but I'll tell you what, we are the best club.
Other than winning the champions league its all they have left from the original mercenaries quote.

Its like asking how long is a piece of string, there's no actual quota or statistic to determine what or who is a big club.

Do we really care

Probably already been posted, seeing as it's a week old at this stage. But I only came across (Oo-err) it this morning......

What a bitter begrudger he is.

It's a wonder he hasn't said the same for the health workers.

It’s critical.... I thought big club = number of social media clicks or number of Scandinavian supporters; small cheating club = owned by a oil state (with appropriate caviats invented by the correspondents).

I preferred it when the accepted measure was the height of floodlights.

Conn still spouting on about "sportswashing", his personal bias and one sided political agenda when football has finally woken up that CFG is about business. The self styled elite have found themselves falling further behind in terms of success and finance with little chance of catching up.

What must really stick in their collective craws is the loyalty to Manchester City of the the fans, the owners, the staff, the players, Pep, other coaches and backroom staff?

The old model of running a football club on debt and spending as little as possible whilst extracting as much cash as possible, has been blown apart. CFG has gone for growth by reinvesting on and off the field as well as in local communities.

At the time of the take over, ADUG did say they had a 20 year plan in place and we still years to go.

By then, there is every chance that Conn and his ilk and the likes of the Guardian will no longer be around. They are already on borrowed time, becoming as irrelevant as City Bingo with their tropes, prejudices and falshoods.

"Man United are the best fit for footloose Harry Kane, says state-of-the-art AI computer which analyses MILLIONS of stats... and says Pogba, Rashford and Fernandes would be PERFECT team-mates"

Have you ever read such laughable shite in all your life. Ok probably been other equally cringy stuff but this is up there. I am not even angry at it because, well just look at that title haha. I recall some of these super algotithms used the other year to predict the title winners, it got it wrong of course.

No need really to click the link, the title says all you need to know.

Big name used to being surrounded by mediocrity? CHECK
Fed up with his current club and looking to max out the contract on his next move? CHECK
Used to not winning much at all? CHECK

Seems legit.

Said it before, David Conn is just the Madchester generation’s Colin Shindler. Part of the same weird breed of City-hating blues who are happy to trouser money for endlessly slagging the club they claim to support, and thus are welcomed with open arms by the redshirt dominated sports desks who see them as useful idiots adding a false veneer of representation

That Conn article is an obvious attempt to construct a readable prose of a list of things he's been regurgitating for a while. Still bringing up Der Spiegel (haha really, David?), throwing in figures to bulk up the outlay, etc.

Kind of desperate really.

The reader count on these articles must be inflated by us Blues just laughing at what he's spouting at this point.

Cut and paste job with a new intro.
Conn is the hypocritical dickhead who positions himself as a thorn in the side of the establishment but then wrote a pitiful article slagging City for failing to show UEFA sufficient deference and toadying servility during the CAS witch hunt

These are people who hark back to Swales as a golden era of City football morality and purity when we had no success, no money and were being run down and bled dry by cronies. They revelled in saying that we were everyones 2nd favourites ignoring that it was because of our failures. There are still Swales apologists on here.

Conn and Shindler have been exposed as mercenaries willing to exploit any negativity about City to pander to rivals, showing no loyalty to the Club despite protestations to have been City fans. In contrast Sergio is the latest of a succession of great players to leave after 10 years service with Manchester City and never a bad word.

For f**k sake! Who the f**k! is this designed to appeal to?

A long way from a nipper paddling through the piss at the Maine Road urinals....Too long
