An update. So I just went out for dinner with the 55 year old lady last night and she asked me to choose a restaurant this time. I initially booked a restaurant but then found out that it's normally for dates. So I cancelled it at the last moment and picked a different restaurant. She asked why I cancelled the first reservation. when I told her that it's usually for people who go out on dates, she suddenly remarked that we can go there and fake ourselves that we are on a date. What does it even mean?

What the hell is a restaurant that's only for dates? What an absurd policy. How do they know you're on a date? Do they make you fill in a questionnaire?

On a side note, how would I know that a woman is interested in me? I am very poor at these. If a girl wants to go to dinner with me without telling its actually a date, does that mean she is interested in me?
Or when I tell her that I am moving to a different state for a job and her response is she will visit me some weekends, does that mean she is giving me signals?

I am still depressed after yesterday’s debacle so want to get my mind off that. Thanks @Kinkladze 1 for the response. The thing with this girl is i am not sure if she is interested or not. She has always been the one to ask me first to go to dinners or take a walk with her and her dog, etc. However maybe she just wants to hang out with me as friends I don’t know. Yesterday after the match, I texted her if she wants to go to a fancy restaurant with me which is known for romantic dinners but she just texted me a thumbs up and nothing else. Don’t know if I made her uncomfortable asking that.

Well....a 'thumbs up' is a lot better than a 'fuck off'. Go, get a bottle of decent German white and see where the evening goes. Sometimes and I'm sure most on here will agree, you cant always see the bleeding obvious. A few times when I was younger, it was on a plate and I didn't see it.

Well it would have been easier for me if she just said fuck off instead of just a thumbs up and nothing else. It’s difficult to know what actually goes on in a woman’s head. The reason I want to be careful is because we are her company’s clients.

From what you’re telling us mate she likes you. Book the restaurant and tell her the date. She’ll like the initiative and you taking charge. In fact, just tell her to keep the date free coz you’re taking her out and leave it at that. Let us know! Just do it.

Yep...they are complicated creatures and blokes are simple and basic, generally...keep it that way whenever you can.
