Worst thing about that defeat? Sergio leaving on that. It was perfectly set up for him to bow out with a champions league winners medal.

The last remaining player from our first premier league title, it wouldn't have just been for him, it was for silva, Kompany, zabba, Hart, lescott in the studio and every other player that came in at the start with the aim of getting that trophy.

Now that's not happening. We will win it eventually and Sergio will join all those mentioned in watching on and being delighted for us but I feel like there's more of a connection to it for all of them when one from their era was in the side. From next season onwards its a different generation, that era has now ended and its gutting we couldn't quite get the lot.

Thank you for everything Kun. It won't truly hit me until I see him in a barca shirt next season just like it did with David in a sociedad top last year.

Let him down hugely, that trophy was there for the taking and Pep got it badly wrong. He should not be leaving this club after 10 years without that winners medal.

That’s why he isn’t getting a new contract . Came on in biggest game or season and his career and walked about like it was a friendly

Sadly the one image that will stick in my head was Sergio stood all on his own. The City players had left the pitch and Sergio was stood just to the left of the tunnel all alone with tears in his eyes. That really got me and I felt so angry that Pep had treated Sergio this session. ( but I know deep down Sergio wasnt the Sergio of a few seasons ago )I just want to give Sergio a hug he looked so lost.

Good bye Sergio thanks for the best years of your career and thanks for the most emotionally day of my live 93:20 Aguerooooooooo

Before the game I was reading about him coming on for one last swansong. My view was, if he was coming in it was because we were out of sight or desperate. It was a throw of the dice that actually didn’t add any value at all because we just started lumping the ball up.

He could have if the PSG line up was used. Pep had a nightmare. We’d have absolutely twatted them last night if he’d have not tinkered.
Perhaps, but Aguero wouldn’t have been contributing much in any event.
He’d only completed 90 minutes 7 times since January 2020, and he was always at his best when he’d had a run of games to get up to speed.

He’d have still been on the pitch when the final whistle blew and been a CL winner. I’m sure that would have done him just fine

For all his waffle about what a player and person kun is. I never got the impression Pep really wanted him in his team.
Anyway a sad end to Citys greatest striker time here.
Ive said this multiple times..I feel Kun has been "managed" out of the team this season...I believe he has been fit and available for longer than we have been led to beleive...if the rumours are true, Kun wasnt too happy towards the end of the season as he was fit to play.....
The give away for me is the constant repetition of answers that always come in press conferences about Kun.....he will help us in the future (or words to that effect)....that never really happened and I never thought it would...it never rang true to me

We have to move on however.....Kun is a legend and always will be.....I believe we are letting him go a season too early and ill be very honest in that Im gutted at the thought of Kane taking over Kuns position here...Haaland for me fits as a replacement but not Kane (some of that is based around sentimentality and a dislike of Kane I admit).

If Kun goes to Barca and stays fit he will score plenty there...the extra gutting part is that it probably helps to convicen Messi to stay
