I'm not keen on day trips but costs can get silly for staying over.
We've stayed over for trips when we've driven (Germany, Holland and France) but the transport costs have been much lower.
I wasn't going to miss our first CL final and would have stumped up the cash if Sheikh Mansour hadn't been so generous.
 
Our form has fell off this last month as he prioritised last night and then he took the piss with that team. Grateful for our success under Pep but he is difficult to love for me. Treated Silva poorly last year vs Lyon did the same to 2 more legends last night.

Just an unlikeable person the way he was carrying on with the crowd just hope the twat does the same when the chavs turn there backs on him
 
I can take the defeat, we'll get there again I feel. Bit crappy today but in some in some ways football feels a world away now, and I'm ok with that until Sept.

Our performance was one which lacked everything pep and the players had spoken about though. Be yourselves, play our game. To an extent Chelsea stifled that, but I also think we were far too slow with the ball and the change in personnel didn't help.

It was close. I've not seen penalty incident again but I was incensed at the time more that he was staying it hit the shoulder where everyone could clearly see it hit arm, how much of the arm it hit was unclear but it was never the shoulder.

Rudiger I think was very lucky, he caused a serious injury regardless of intent, clear dangerous play, and wasn't punished for it as maybe he should have been.

Still, let's hope our players get through the euros ok and then go again, going to need a bit of fresh impetuous I feel now, be that new blood, rest ot new ideas I'll leave to pep to figure out.
 
It seemed inevitable after 5 mins, we had no fluidity and the defence looked fragile.

It was like watching your own burial, knowing your fate and being able to do nothing about it.

Pep was no where to be seen at the end, and the players where so wrapped up in self pity they didn't acknowledge the supporters, bar a solitary clap from Stone in the middle of the pitch.

A very large cake is being binned in the UAE today.

You and Jill could explain your blueprint rather then just say pep out with no substance and then come up with that kind of answer when challenged
 
There was rumours last night no Rodri or fern and sterling playing at least an hour before team announced, how did that happen?

There is nobody out there good enough and that’s a fact ........... if he stopped these brain freeze moments then he would go down as the greatest ever he should have had at least 2 CL winners medals since his Barca days ........ once he has complete faith in a system that is a winning one then everything European wise will fall into place.

mark my words as much as you lot are hurting he will be feeling it even worse

Do me a favour mate go find where I've said Pep out??? I'm pissed off with that team selection last night doesn't mean I want him out. If we can't criticise the team or the selection, what's the point in the fucking forum?
 
I’m surprised we haven’t seen more rags in here commenting on our ‘bottling it’.

We have 2 of the best holding midfielders in the world and played none of them, Chelsea player theirs and it showed.

An arrogant egotist that freezes in the biggest games, refuses to change or play his best players, constantly tinkers and has been “found out” and we want him to stay?
