The deal is all but done according to an ex player I was chatting to yesterday who still has very close ties to the club
Seems like this one is definitely happening, I wonder who`s gonna make space for him though. He didn`t say anything about other incomings/outgoings by any chance?

Grealish is immense, some of you haven't watched a single VIlla game the past two seasons.

The impact he has had on them trumps anything our players have done besides maybe Dias.

Grealish glides past players its what we are missing he will take players on, his passing as well is very good

For those who keep saying who need pacy players, just look back at teams facing us… are there really ones who play a high line against us? Nope.
They all defend deeep, which deems pace useless.

Sterling clearly ain’t it on the left, despite his pace, he lacks everything technically… and you don’t want to limit Foden by having him over there.

So the logical move would be getting someone like Grealish… and moving Foden to the right. You’d have two players very similar to each other cutting in to their best foot.

Obviously the issue here would be finding buyers for Sterling and Mahrez.

I don't agree with the pace argument either, we keep the ball and play possession based football we play patient. Sometimes you could argue we pass too much in and around the opposition box I wouldn't argue we need pace.

I think he is an excellent player but not really what we need. He would be taking Foden's place and he deserves to be a regular starter next season.

I think Grealish and Foden would link up well on the left and could swap during the game pretty easily. Bit of a mouth watering prospect if I'm being honest.

My only real problem is that I'm 50/50 on whether or not Grealish is the kind of person I'd want around Foden while he's still making a name for himself.

Not many clubs were clamouring for his signature
many were but it was a lot of money for a player from that league.

Don't forget he, Ferm, had to buy himself out of it, says a lot about the man.

He backed his talent, and he and us have been rewarded handsomely.
