I see United have agreed personal terms with Jason Sancho but haven't yet put in a bid for him (Daily Star via BBC transfer gossip page).
Isn't this called tapping up a player?

Used to be but it's the way every transfer is done now,

2021 = being laughed at by your trophy-less neighbour for not winning the treble, there are levels to it:

Oh fuck. Mason what’s his name has withdrawn from the Euros....we’re fucked, where are all the goals going to come from ?

Wouldnt surprise me if Southgate has told him he's not going and he's seen his arse. Then Neil Ashton is spinning it that he's "injured"

That's odd, it's compulsory for any English rag player to be shoe-horned somehow or other into the squad.

However, if Southgate has decided he doesn't need another rag representative on the pitch he will not be in the job for much longer.

That is almost certainly the case. The timing is absurd. No doubt none of the sycophants in the press will challenge it. Personally I am sorry because I think Greenwood is an excellent striker, especially off the bench. He is much more effective than Rashford or Sterling these days. He would be great at City and would get the chance to develop properly.

That comment about "Agreed terms" is also in a MUEN headline - but the text says "Their interest in Sancho continues" (or words to that effect.

Noticed that Greenwood claimed he was exhausted, no wonder having played over 50 games at his age. And to think they slated us for not playing Foden week in week out. This is what happens to kids when they are overplayed. To be too tired to represent your country is criminal, well played the paper boy

I'm sure that Bellingham lad is about his age too...forget exactly how old he is.
