Would be an interesting swap, City could very well go for that.

And then also have room for Graelish, while signing a forward to 'replace' aguero.

Speaking hypothetically, rather than wishfully.

Sorry, to be clearer I meant his career as Spurs chairman. Effectively his career at the top of football. Maybe not immediately but it would be a huge blow to his reputation to lose Kane UNLESS he extracts an insane price from City, which he won't be able to manage.

We've already seen leaks that he thinks £200m is right. He's probably thinking that will pull us up to £150m. 0% chance City get anywhere near that.

He’s a very shrewd operator and his Spurs career will be absolutely fine because whatever decision he comes to will be the right one for Spurs, as a business, when taking full account of the situation the club is currently in.
The whole of football will know that and it could even enhance his reputation.

And, no, he doesn’t think that Kane is worth £200 million (and neither do any Spurs fans who can tie their own laces) because he’s a very clever businessman and not an idiot.
However, as the man holding Kane as an asset he won’t be drawn to counter any media claims of a stupidly high valuation because that would reveal something of his thinking and he’s not daft enough to be promoted to do that by some cheeky journalist writing bollox for those stupid enough to believe it.

Ok moody, so - again - my point is that if your interpretation is correct, I don't think he will sell Kane to City. It's only good for Spurs at a price point that City won't touch.

Spurs found money last summer to buy players after furloughing staff. For Kane to stay he would have to believe that Tottenham can win something. If he falls for the new manager bounce 2 years running then I think City would be best staying well clear. He can’t be as stupid as he looks ;)

This is what it is, more or less. We make our own beds in this world. If he wants to stay at his beloved Spurs then please stay put. Don't come trying out every two seasons when Walker picks up his 4 Pl and 1st CL.
Make a decision and stay with it. But if he is that interested in leaving Spurs then just leave even if sign Guardiola tomorrow.

Thats why I don't like Messi's behaviour( Even though i still believe he is the GOAT). Every three year he picks up a tantrum, throws his toys around and when Barcelona throws some 100 mil at his face, goes back to his fucking cave despite multiple UCL humiliations in the last 4 years. Well to each its own, i would say.

For what it's worth, Pep can make Andre Silva work in our system. We won't win the CL but PL dreams can be achieved again.

He’d need to want to leave and AM would need to want the deal so it doesn’t sound like an option.
Conversely, Bernardo apparently wants more game time and AM want Bernardo.
He’s played in 45 games this season and started 39 of those, not how much more game time any player can really expect.

Pretty sure Bernardo has gone on record before as saying one day he would love to play in Spain. Just found the article

Be a shame if he left as he’s a great character and his work rate is second to non. I think he is very replaceable though as he doesn’t really score goals and not exactly prolific on assists either. Maybe this is the summer that the squad gets a real freshen up and he’s got to be worth a lot of money for anyone wanting him.

if it had to happen and it had to be felix then straight swap surely? Felix is younger but bernardo is currently the better player?
