Absolutely 100%
The problem with Rags is they're trapped in a time warp and think they're in a position to outspent everyone and have a divine right to success.
The reality is they're a busted flush clinging on to past glories who can only attract players by paying bigger wages than everyone else is prepared to pay which then gives you players who are there primarily for the money rather than ambition.
Long may it continue as they're not going to move forward until they acknowledge how far behind they have fallen and come up with a strategy to address this.
Back to where they were pre Ferguson. Basically a cup team. Such is football. It’s always been cyclic & always will be, which is why I’m enjoying the ride, as our success won’t last forever either

Sir Matthew Busby Way....

I liked the bit about improving the stadium by giving it a lick of paint. It just keeps on getting funnier & funnier
Painting it Sky Blue would be an improvement.

And on Sunday Jude Bellingham (he's only 17)
Tuesday Kane
Thursday and Friday Ronaldo coming back on a free and playing for nothing
Saturday Sancho deal nearly done
Monday Messi in City snub as he opts for the Rags..............
Skip to August and they will have signed Jude Sancho from Wrexham and Ronaldo Kane Catering company in a new sponsorship deal.
Neil Ashton's new song

Transfer rumours in the press on Monday
Linked with Jaydon Sancho on Tuesday
We moved on to Haaland by Wednesday
Bellingham Thursday Friday and Saturday
Kane on Sunday

Agree 100%
The main difference though is we've been rebuilt from grassroots level and all the teams in the different age groups are coached to play in a similar style and can slot seamlessly into the more senior teams if they're good enough to step up.
We won't win things every year obviously and football is cyclical however we will be competitive for many years to come thanks to the solid infrastructure that has been put into place.
Meanwhile our friends over in Trafford are suffering from cognitive dissonance under the illusion that they are the "worlds greatest club" (tm) and doing things the "united way" (whatever that means) and until they wake up to reality they will fall further behind.
After listening to years of shit from plastic no mark glory hunting gobshites long may it continue.
God bless HH Sheikh Mansour with an honourable mention to The Glazers.

This utd way makes me laugh because basically its sit back and attack at 100 mph , normally hitting long to two wide players to run onto and cross.

Its posh Wimbledon, no different to the way liverpool play. Whereas most clubs up and down the country are all trying to play the Pep way ! Apart from these two dinosaur clubs.

Been on this website for many years now. Could never have imagined back in 07 just how dramatically the fortunes of Manchester City and Man Utd would change.
Up until fairly recently we could be exasperated by how mardarsed utd fans could be. Boohoo, not won a title for a couple of years.... but the years keep ticking by without any sign of them "turning that corner" and getting back where they "belong"
The club and team are beyond comedy nowadays for me (they're just mediocre) but their fans and the Glazers never fail to deliver delicious tidbits

You forgot the bit about falling over as soon as they get in the box.

come on they do " kick it " round the back first before hoofing it long n hard

Got to say the rags have me worried.

They are getting new floodlights both a the swamp and Carrington, they are on the way back.........

How times change, the above is something PJ Swales would have done back in the day.
