I can understand some of the squad moving on, but I really cannot see how their destination will ever be Barcelona, in the state they are currently in. Unless the club will accept an IOU in advance of payments, that we will never receive.
 
Not a negative poster at all, but like I’ve said a time or two I wouldn’t get my hopes up on Grealish. My good pals even more adamant Grealish is staying. It’s lost in translation, but I’ve been getting taunted with money (irony jokes!!, but also true, the third richest owners in the prem).

Just wanted to maybe taper expectations for blues expecting this one.

Call me neutral, I trust the club no matter what we do before I take a few pelters.

Hope it comes off fwiw. Just don’t see us paying absurd money here so both sides of this makes sense to me.

Seems a weird one for us to splash 100m on.

We were linked with the entire monaco team the summer we signed Bernardo.

Not saying he comes to us at all, but you honestly think he isn’t ambitious to win trophies and play CL? Might stay another year but can’t see any longer than that.

Obviously he's always going to spin the higher wages but I think this is true. Bernardo is a gestifute player who Dunc seems to have links too.

I also think if you're Bernardo, you're wondering where you're going to play. When we buy a striker Kev will go back to that right #8 role, and he's behind Mahrez out wide.

I feel him along with Laporte will probably leave. Too much noise re both players wanting to move. Not that surprised in regards to Bernardo as he has said before he dreams of playing in la Liga. Don’t know enough about saul to know if the swap makes sense mind

I've been posting any and all links to Saúl wanting out of Atletico for about 4 years hoping we would sign him, and I was pretty harsh on Bernardo being a bit lost in this side and yet this proposed swap makes me very sad.


Hopefully we can get Saul and convince Bernie to stay.

i think it seems that bernardo 100% wants out so this deal (if true) would soften the blow somewhat?
