Seasoncard - 2021/22

I was never given that option on my online account when I checked yesterday. We are all in the same group.
There are some changes being introduced to Friends and Family, to help make Seasoncard renewals, purchasing match tickets, and managing Cup Schemes as easy as possible for everyone.

RELATIONSHIP TYPES

In addition to the normal Friends and Family relationship, there is now an option to add someone to your City Family Group.
Setting up a City Family Group creates a special network. The supporter who first sets up the network by adding members of their friends and family to the City Family Group is the group leader.
A supporter can be classed as friends and family with many supporters but can only belong to one City Family Group.
Below is a summary of the actions a supporter can make on behalf of another supporter based on their relationship type.

Regular Friends and Family RelationshipCity Family Group Relationship (Indicated by a star next to their name in your online account)
Can buy home and away match tickets and see the purchase in my online historyYesYes
Renew SeasoncardNoYes
Enrol in Cup SchemesYesYes
Relocate seat(s) for the season or for a single matchIf the seat was purchased as part of the City Family Group firstYes
Regrade (change age band)If the seat was purchased as part of the City Family Group firstYes

For example, if you would like to renew a family members Seasoncard, you can only do this if you belong to the same City Family Group.
In the Friends and Family Relationship section of your online account, you will know if you are in a City Family group with someone by the STAR next to their name.

2 hours on the phone went from 75 to number 4 then cut off.
Its bad enough this pandemic has forced me into an overseas job , now I am trying to defer.
absolute disgrace , they know there is going to be a heavy amount of calls, why don’t they take some temp staff on to deal with it.
I have to call apparently, why it can’t be done over email I don’t know.
I did mine online, and it took less than 10 mins

so if people deferring for this season are guaranteed their same seat back, what does this mean for relocations?

how will you know if you relocate, if you will still be able to keep that seat for 22/23 or if a deferrer will reclaim it ?
Exactly and a point i mentioned yesterday on a couple of occasions.
I am wanting to relocate but will then have to relocate again in 12 months if the seats i take have been put onto a deferred basis.
Not ideal this in anyway.

Myself and two daughters never asked for a refund on games cancelled previous season. Will the money we have in the “kitty” be takeninto account when the club take the Direct Debit. Not seen any other enquires on this matter.Over to PB,thanks in advance.
I had the same and they took the 'discount' off at the final page and when the acknowledgement came through. I was paying one off.

We've had confirmation from the club that the wording means if you defer, you will be guaranteed your seat in 22/23 unless they have to remove it for some reason (e.g. expanded disabled bays, new hospitality offerings, some other ground works).

So even if you renewed and that happened, you'd still have to relocate. They won't sell it as a seasoncard to someone else.

Typical City. If there's 99 correct ways to explain things and 1 shit one, they'll pick the shit one every time. Their communication skills are absolutely fucking awful. They should have either explained fully or said nothing.

So you can safely defer.

And if I defer, mate, would me and my lad be able to buy on a ad-hoc basis next season using our existing season card points?

Not bothered about sitting in same seats.

*just seen your response elsewhere.

In that case I suggest you renew the two you want, tick "not sure" on the other two and then ring up once the initial demand has died down to make sure the other two are cancelled.
Thanks for the replies. I'm just going to defer for the year on my ticket and see what my situation is this time next year.

So where and how do you do that? At present I can't see any of my Friends and Family, Points, Purchase History, etc. My son and his partner are abroad and won't be back before the renewal date. Our tickets are all on direct debit with my bank account.
