Raheem Sterling MBE

Any idea where he sits on the all time list? I can't figure it out!
Quite a bit down. Probably around 20th. There are quite a lot with 100 plus from oldies like Billy Gillespie, Billy Meredith, Horace Barnes Tommy Brownell, Alex Herd Fred Tilsion Eric Brook even Shaun Goatee though his weren't top flight.I will try and find the actual list

Nice one mate appreciate that. I’ve googled it to death and none of them make sense.

I asked @Gary James this last year and he was 17th -

He scored 15 goals since then so he's comfortably ahead of goater now and probably past a few others. He's 21 off the top 10.

Legend. Cheers Dom.

TBF six pages on a player who is the club's second highest goal scorer of the last 40 years at 26 years old being given an MBE ...

I think the antipathy extends beyond just the media these days.
Soz. I didn't see the 6 pages, just got a headline from the M.E.N. Nothing at all on BBC sports so far unless I'm mistaken.

About half way down under 'More Top Stories' ...and to be fair to the BBC (sorry!) the headline didn't mention the Liverpool man who got an honour as well. (Can't remember his name and not bothering to look, if he doesn't play for City well tough!)

EDIT: I only looked at the headline now clicked on and read the article and it does mention thingymabob Henderson further down the page, but the headline is OUR RAZ, SO STICK THAT IN YOUR BUMBAGS LIVERPOOL FANS!!! Whoops must have left the caps lock on. Tut, tut.

bumbags isn't swearing is it? If it is my Dad is turning in his grave!

that is a bag you wear around your waist so you are safe lovely lol

Was great when he spoke out after that chelsea game. Was a real catalyst in an attempt of change. Nowhere near complete but he should be proud of his role.

MBE is sometimes said to mean through 'My Bloody Efforts'. Raheem is far more deserving of it in that respect than another footballer much assisted by the media especially the BBC who once had four features in five days.
Raheem can be proud he didn't get his award from a vote seeking PM. Arise Sir Alex.
