Harry Kane

Pep has too much respect for the hierarchy to ever speak out of turn publicly regardless of what happens in a transfer window. He will always back the players he has and will never bring a private disagreement into the public domain in the way that other managers do.

Oh absolutely. I also think he is very much a guy who means what he says and says what he thinks.

whoever we sign ,i just hope they are in the natural goalscorer end of the spectrum and not the manufactured end. We need someone who knows where the net is. somebody who can see the space seconds ahead of the defenders and get there, someone who is on the same wavelength as KDB and hopefully Bernie so that the dinked ball ,that ball through the lines into space is read and and doesn't go to waste like so many of them have in previous seasons. Peps coaching and motivation is best used on someone with natural goal scoring skills rather than trying to mould a triangle to fit in a round hole .

He loves Press conferences. Talking these things - only the true, always must make a good one. And so, so happy. If his bosses can, they will know, always.

Just watched that Daniel Levy video. Basically warning the spurs fans that they need to sell Kane imo, don’t see how anything else could be concluded from it.

Video that was set up by spurs & Levy, interview deliberately asked Levy about Kane and he went on to talk about understanding his frustration, but needing to do the right thing for spurs immediately followed by their debts being most significant in Europe, badly affected by covid, want to remain competitive but need to protect the club and its sustainability. Would have been very easy for them to say we don’t want to lose him or he’s not for sale at any price but there was none of that.

Imo sounds like they HAVE to sell Kane.

Even Levy admits they are f*cked financially as a result of the new stadium and covid! Extremely telling interview that In terms of Spurs stance!

Two main takeaways from that Levy interview:

- worst hit club in Prem from a financial perspective
- re: Kane, going to do “what’s right for the club”

Chuckled how there was no mention of super league at all lol. They know this is a good time to cash in on Harry, but obviously, we'll just have to hope it works out from our end.

Do you have a link? Thx

This is European football's toughest negotiator? Lol..A deliberate question about Kane, doesn't even try to deny the stories and he couldn't even bring himself to act and at least shut it down with 'He's an important player for us and he wont leave...'or sth similar..
Most obvious big transfer this window..
Call it opportunistic by us,but they are skint and we know it

Interesting on 2 levels- no denial that Kane will be sold - he could have killed all speculation with a strong rebuttal and absolutely no confirmation that they would spend to address Kane’s frustrations - which Levy acknowledged… effectively Spurs are skint and need to sell. I’d say the Kane transfer is on.
